I was so excited to come here. A friend recommended it. I drove 50 minutes to get here and was so excited to try there vegan pancakes. We waited 30 minutes when we got there, and it was no problem because there are so many stores nearby to check out. We were given our table and the hostess gave us utensils. My fork had food on it and I was grossed out. I politely went to the hostess and asked if I could get a new fork. She apologized and I said it was not her fault because she’s not the dishwasher who cleaned it. Our server then came up to us and my boyfriend and I knew what to order immediately. I told the server I wanted 2 vegan pancakes with strawberries on the side and no bananas. The server told my boyfriend and I that they ran out of strawberries. I also ordered just egg and potatoes on the side. My boyfriend ordered the Jamaican Blue coffee in the french press, breakfast combo with seasonal pancakes and got bacon. He read over our orders and I told him again no bananas. 2 to 3 minutes after I already had gave my server the order I decided to get 3 vegan pancakes instead of 2. He said it was no problem and would put it in the system. A woman brought out 1 vegan pancake a couple of minutes later with strawberries and bananas on top. I told her i’m so sorry I ordered 3 pancakes not one and please no bananas. 5 to 7 minutes later she came out again with my pancakes. The cooks had just taken off most of the bananas but not all of them. The bananas had already seeped into the pancakes. I was so upset, but didn’t say anything. I am allergic to bananas. I picked off the remaining bananas off my pancake, and decided to eat the food because I was scared of sending the food back again and them repeating the same thing over. My throat was so itchy after eating it, I should have said something. Just very disappointed with the service. My boyfriend didn’t receive his coffee till after he was done with his meal (even tho we ordered the coffee a while ago). You also have to ask for syrup too. We got the pancakes and no syrup was given to us. We were also charged more, I should have looked at the bill closely before handing over my card. I really tried to like this place because restaurants with vegan options is so hard to find. I looked online and the three pancakes should have been 12.50 not 14.00 that I was charged, and the just egg should have been $3 not $6 like I was charged. The table beside me also had a problem, they received there food prior to getting there drinks. I wish my experience here was better.

We are regulars at the Turning Point in Paramus and have been going there almost every weekend since they’ve opened. The food and service at that location are fantastic, so when we were in Morristown recently, we decided to visit the Turning Point there for breakfast. Unfortunately, we’ve now been to the Morristown location twice, and both times were disappointing. The cleanliness is a major concern. On our most recent visit, the coffee pot we received was greasy and dirty, and the water bottle was no better. To make matters worse, the lamp hanging above our table had a dead spider in it—absolutely gross. The table next to us even sent their coffee cups back because they were dirty, which speaks volumes. The service was slow, and to our surprise, they were out of chicken fingers because, according to the server, the chicken “was still on the way.” It felt like they were underprepared to handle the crowd, which was frustrating. After reading other reviews of the Morristown location, it seems cleanliness and preparedness have been ongoing issues here. It’s disappointing, especially because we’ve had such great experiences at the Paramus location. The Morristown team needs to step up and address these concerns. Until then, we won’t be coming back.

Used to eat TP at their Hoboken location so when I heard they were opening one up here so close to work I was excited! Here's what I got for their 2nd day open! 1: iced campfire latte 4.8/5 stars Freaking delicious! Just wish it was on a larger cup since I wanted to enjoy the latte some more! 2: The Grande Huevos Rancheros Great and filling food item! Definitely brought back those days where I would order this often! You can choose how you want your eggs done so I typically choose mine to be scrambled. If you like spicy like I do, ask for Tabasco or siracha! 3: Seasonal Item: Cucumber Citrus Dragonade Light and not too sweet. Like the latte the portion size could be bigger but otherwise it's a great refresher drink. Chante was my waitress and she was very kind and we had some good back n forth talk about the food and work! I'd say shes gonna be a key staff member with that energy she gives! I wish this location the best of luck with the business!

First let me say that I really do not like to post non-positive reviews without first bringing issues to the attention of the company if possible. I did contact the company directly but never received any type of acknowledgement or response regardless of providing all my contact info. The following is a summary of that email: We were a party of 4, plus an infant, and arrived around 8:30 am on 2/23/25. The restaurant was maybe 1/2 full at the time. We were seated right away and a server greeted us by bringing us water and said he would return to take orders. So far, so good. However, after 20 minutes, he had still not returned to even take our coffee/beverage orders and we could not find him anywhere. We waited another 5 minutes or so and my wife went up to another server and asked him if he knew where our server was. He said "give me a minute". About another 10 minutes went by and then the second server came back to our table and told us that he would just take our orders since the original server, which we still hadn't seen since he brought the water, was "hung up" on the other side. He obviously forgot about us. Finally, we got our coffee and drinks after being there for over half an hour. That is just unacceptable. Our food, once we finally got it, was very good; but the amount of time it took us to get served and the overall amount of time we were there (which by the time we left was almost 2 hours) was extremely frustrating, especially since we had an infant with us. I paid the $77 bill and still left a $15 tip for the server regardless of the lackluster service that we received. This is the first time we have visited a Turning Point restaurant and I have to say that if this is normal or standard for the level of service that is provided, we are unsure if we will return. At no point was anything close to an apology, explanation or acknowledgment of what happened ever offered. A simple "sorry" goes a long way. Honestly, we get better attention and a higher level of service at our...

Terrible Service and Unprofessional Management

I have been a customer since opening day, but my recent experience on Saturday, December 14th, was incredibly disappointing. We arrived shortly after 10:30 a.m., and my oldest daughter checked us in. We were told the wait would be 10 minutes. However, after waiting 20 minutes in the car with no updates, I went back inside. What I saw was concerning: the same clean, empty tables near the entrance and in the back remained unoccupied, along with several others. Meanwhile, I watched as other groups who had just arrived were asked, "How many people?" and immediately seated without being added to the waitlist. When I inquired about our table, the manager checked the system and told me we were in the "fifth row" and that the wait was now 20 minutes. When I pointed out the empty tables and questioned why groups arriving after us were being seated immediately, his response was dismissive and inconsistent. He claimed they were ensuring the tables were clean, yet those same tables had been ready for over 25 minutes. To excuse himself for what appeared to be an oversight, the manager raised his voice at me in front of other diners, creating an unnecessary scene. Rather than addressing the issue professionally, he chose to loudly defend his "procedures," demonstrating a total disregard for customer satisfaction. This kind of behavior from someone in a leadership position is unacceptable. A manager should lead by example, resolve issues calmly, and prioritize the customer experience. Instead, this encounter revealed a lack of professionalism, organization, and respect. I will not return. If you're considering dining here, be prepared for poor service and...
