Burnham Park — Attraction in Morristown

It's a good park it's pretty clean pretty, a great place to go fishing. I've caught small mouth bass there before. they do stock it. During the day it seems pretty safe they could fix up the baseball fields and make it better. they have a path, But going all the way around the park leads you out into a busy street. If if you walk on the grass on the other side of the park towards the busy street it's usually Very wet. It could be cleaned up a little bit sometimes, I sometimes I see used needles but I don't ever see people doing anything in the park so it must be happening at night.. Nice little historic park that could be improved by having the walking path extend all the way around the pond. Revolutionary War encampment site but no placard next to the cabin stating who stayed there. The park is nice, it just does not have a ton to it. It has a small playground for kids which usually isn't crowded. The lake is nice but you can't walk the whole way around, which is kind of annoying. You can fish here but don't expect to catch much.
