Fort Nonsense is a part of the Morristown National Historical Park in Morristown, New Jersey. The park sits on top of a hill that has scenic views of Morristown. On a clear day it is possible to see parts of the skyline of New York City. The park is relatively small, but at the sametime it is scenic and historic. You can see the outlines of the old fort and there is signage explaining it very well. The purpose of the fort was an observation and alarm post in case of a British attack during the American Revolution. Such an attack never came It is easy to drive to the top park. There is also a nice walking/hiking trail that can be followed to the location. There is room for about 10 vehicles in the parking lot. If you’re touring Morristown National Historical Park this is worth a look. Come here to enjoy the history...

I love this place. I would highly recommend finding a way to see a sunrise here as it is truly breathtaking. There is not much to see but there is a single trail that starts near the entrance sign and goes up to the top of the hill which I use for sprint workouts occasionally. The small amount of history on the placards at the top of the hill are interesting and mention the use of fire towers during the revolutionary war. If you're doing a historical tour of Morristown make sure to make a...

A great view to the east. You are well above the treetops. On a autumn day, very relaxing. Bring your own chair. There is only one park bench. No restroom or porta john. I haven't hiked them but there are trails for that. It is a good place to chill. Read a book, listen to music just have a chat. Also the history of the place is explained on several signs. I like being that close to history. I would have given it 5 stars but you can't the city from there. Still it's a good...

After all this time I’ve finally made. It seems just yesterday I was hiding from the mud lady over a slop dispute. But after my first gig at the Mayo performing art center(questionable lack of mayonnaise) I finally made it, when I got there I noticed I broke out in scabs. When I tried to pick them a vile black ooze poured out instead of blood. The view was alright I guess.
