Delaware Canal Morrisville Trailhead — Attraction in Morrisville

I love a good walk, and the Canal trails on the Delaware provide one. It's scenic (right on the Delaware River), and you get to see a variety of wildlife (all kinds of birds, turtles, snakes, and even the occasional jumping fish). I even had a pleasant one on one encounter with a very friendly deer who walked right up to me on the trail. I usually park down the street on the left in the gravel parking spots. I almost always fish at this location as it produces some decent sized fish when the time is right. Definitely watch out for bikers if you plan on walking or fishing. Lots of wild life including turtles, geese, ducks,...
