The food is good I had a lot but my favorite that I tried was the cabbage, collard greens, and the turkey wings. Everything was seasoned properly. Nothing else needed to be added. The crab cakes however could have used less grease. It would have been much better if he used butter instead for the flavor. Other than that, the crab cakes were good. The jerk shrimp that I had were excellent, from the flavor to the size of the shrimp it was good. The salmon was good but the sauce should have been homemade. The jerk sauce that he used is store bought which changes the flavor of the salmon itself. You get friendly, good service from the young lady at the counter taking the orders. The restaurant is very clean and the atmosphere is okay. I wanted to try a dessert but I didn't have any room lol! So overall I will give the food, the service and the restaurant...

Chris and Helen are very nice people.❤❤ Cafe 609 is the place to go when you want some real good down home clean food.👍 I say "clean food" because I've never had a problem with anything I've ever ordered from them. The food is always DONE and not half cooked like some places I've been. The ONLY problem I have with my brother and sister is that THEY NEVER HAVE ANY POTATO SALAD!!!
