Morro Rock Ecological Preserve — Attraction in Morro Bay

Seals and otters and family friendly. Fish and chips seems to be the theme of the restaurants with plenty of other choices. Lots of boats to ride, rent to fish or whale watch or just boat for fun. Nice beach seemed popular with swimmers. Small touristy seaside resort won my heart. However, the big rock has precarious rocks ready to slide so stay away from the side. Clean resort and plenty with of parking and impressively clean restrooms. Well...

Great place to relax and take pics. We went when there was some big surfing contest and another event with a bunch of kids. The kids weren't bad but some of there parents were jerks, bumping into us and my wife who had knee surgery. All in all other than that...

What a great place. Loved the ROCKS and loved the creative rock balancing from others. We had beautiful weather and the sea otters were hanging in the bay leading up to the preserve. What a great up close view of Morro Rock. BUT, please do NOT...
