I’ve gone to Morro Bay many times as both a kid and adult, and still one of my favorite places to go. It has some awesome links to world war 2, and even some old pillars and I believe part of the T shape pier by the coast guard building is still 40s era. The plaque itself is just off the walking path I would say just NW of the three stacks. I know it’s been there since mid 90s but never saw the old location before it was moved.
