We bought a spa from Hot Springs back in 2007. I have always had service and repairs done and been more than happy with their customer service from start to finish. Today marks a new time! I called Monday 7/2 and asked for service for a leak in the motor compartment and I was told to expect a service person to show sometime Tuesday. I waited. I called again Wednesday 7/4 to see if I should expect someone. The young man I spoke to on the phone apologized for the delay and said that I could expect a service person to arrive today. Sure enough an older gentleman showed up to our spa. I walked out to our patio area to find a man standing by my spa, I had never heard a door knock of any kind. He told me "pump two needs to be rebuilt and I could probably have someone come out tomorrow". I asked where he saw the problem and he pointed to the right of the motor compartment. Funny thing, that wasn't where the leak was at all. He seemed irritated. I followed up with asking if he minded if I went and got my husband to hear what the problem was. He rolled his eyes and leaned on my spa cover crossing his arms over his screwdriver. I was so shocked by his demeanor, I had to check and make sure he was actually from Hot Springs Spa and Leisure! To make this long and disappointing story short I'll end by saying we'll be changing our service for our spa today. From what Pat (owner) said by giving excuses for his behavior this service man must be related to the her, so buyer beware. Your chances are real that you may have to deal with this man too. Poor representation of a...
Read moreA few years ago we bought a house that came with a vinyl lined pool. It was not in the best of shape, but it did its job in entertaining our kids during the summer months. Over the next few years Hot Springs Spa and Leisure helped me keep things running as best I could with as low a budget as possible. They even let me tag along with their technicians in the fall while they closed the pool for the winter so I could learn how to do it myself and save money in the future. After eight years of limping it along, though, the liner finally failed last winter. When I opened it up, most of the water was gone. After getting quotes from everyone in Eastern Washington, Hot Springs Spa and Leisure not only came up with the lowest price, they also were able to offer a thicker, more durable new liner. I’m always leery of the lowest offer, afraid that there must be some catch, but I decided to go with them anyway. I’m really glad that I did. The day after I made a down payment they were in my back yard taking measurements and getting the exact replacement that I needed. They even took the time to fully investigate why the pool failed and made the corrections that were needed to keep it from happening the same way this time. They did all of that without adding a single dime to the original quote. Now I have a beautiful, leak-free pool! (Did I mention that I used to have to put about 8 inches in it a week during the summer months?). My family...
Read moreI called and asked about water delivery and they gave me excellent recommendations. When it was time for water treatment they went next level on me. To start I know nothing about pools and I mean nothing. These people didn’t treat me like some idiot they helped to explain what is what and why, they came up with solutions to give me the proper chemicals in the right dosages instead of selling me 20lbs of something I only need 1lb of simply cuz they don’t have it in stock, the ability to not up sell and over sell me on stuff was super nice and made me have that much more confidence and trust in them. The owner is an incredibly smart and knowledgeable lady, she took the time to show me around the showroom and let me oogle at all the spas and hot tubs. It’s so nice to be a new pool owner and have a locally owned shop like this that will take care of the things they specialize in so that I can just go about enjoying...
