Absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had. Went to Att to look at switching over to save money because of everything that was presented showed a money savings to switch over from TMobil to ATT. I went in wanting to have the multiple line service to get the discount for having multiple lines and get the trade in discount for trading in our current phones. Once my phones arrived that I had ordered I went to ATT to have them activated and was told that we had three separate lines and I had asked why. The response was that the person who initially signed me up was new. The associate was able to put two lines one one account but not the other line. Which does not make sense as to why there were three separate accounts. I called and complained that I was very upset about the separate lines as that was not my choice and to express that switching was supposed to save money and not tripple in price. I told the associate that I was emailed an approximate price quote I was given and was told they are not always accurate. I was glad that I could always cancel the bill as I was with in the 14 day period but I would be out the phones I traded in. Had I known everything up front I would not have switched over. I then went to the other att store and was told they would try and fix it. They were able to at least fix the discount code for first responder as it was entered wrong and attempt to get all the lines on one account. Weeks go by in check in because we get a huge bill that was tripled the amount as my first carrier because of the person who set it up. I was told by the manager on the Stratford location to not pay the bill and wait until he hears back from his manger. Of course we wait and hear nothing. My husband then goes down and was told there is nothing he can do and because our account is delinquent we have to wait until we have 3 on time payments before the one phone line can be put on the same account as it should have been when I signed up. Went in to discuss my bill being incorrect and she argued stating my bill was correct showing the promotional offers and trade in value credits being applied. She went to do her âresearchâ that took awhile and came back continuing to state the bill was correct. After expressing frustration because my husband and I knew it was not correct and continued to show her details of the bill, she used statements such as âwell I canât make the bill say thatâ and still insinuating my bill was correct. I asked to speak to someone above her due to the lack of knowledge and her hostility and she attempted to tell me she was all I could speak to and did not want to provide me with anyone above her. I argued that I was sure there was someone above her and I wanted contact info. She attempted to back track on the information she was giving us and then informed us she was not done with her âresearchâ and we just did not let her finish and admitted the bill was incorrect. She let me know she would have the area manager contact me (I will definitely make sure there is contact made) and kicked us out of the store. The kind of hostility we received I have never ever in my life experienced this in customer service. We called ATT, within 10 min INCORRECT phone bill as was taken care of and apologies were made on behalf of the store manager and noted. I've been in and out of this store more times than I care to admit in the last 2 months since I switched back to them from Sprint. It was for this reason I left them before, and now this crap. Two months ago I switched because AT&T gets good service where I work and I thought to myself that things were probably better than when I left them for Sprint 7 years ago. To make a long story short they are not coveringpart of the termination fee with Sprint because of some ticky tack crap that was not explained when we switched. Now we are stuck with them. We had a tablet activation fee that was not mentioned untill we had already paid for it. I go in to have them check my account and see where it was messed up at he tells me that he mentioned it to me before (same salesman as before). I nor my wife heard him say anything remotely close to what happened. We let the tablet activation fee slide but the termination fee was the straw that broke the camel's back. Needless to say I will not be spending even one more penny at this store. I hope nobody upgrades their phone or switches contracts with these Jokers. My slimeball salesman should probably get a job selling used cars. That would probably suit him a lot better. The other store in ML seems to be a major improvement...
