I was raised in the Baptist tradition & only recently learned of Orthodoxy. After going on/off for a number of months, there's still some things that I might still be a little too Protestant to be all the way comfortable with (ceremonialy speaking). However, everyone is kind & inviting. I enjoy the Wednesday night classes, and very enlightening conversations regarding my theological background compared to the Orthodox. The art is incredible. Never expected to be instantly captivated by it's Easternness, and literally ambushed by a powerfully palpable sense of the sacred.
