This was the first time Iāve actually set foot into Nadeau!
Iāve been stalking them on IG for years in the Mount Pleasant, SC location āŗļø My biggest fear was is if I actually showed up at the store I will go bankrupt because I would end up buying way more than I could afford at the time. After a few questions over IG yesterday, I took the shot and went today! No pressure shopping what so ever!
Edward was absolutely amazing and a huge help! It turns out he was also the one on the other end of the conversation through IG the day before. I have been desperately trying to find just the right type of round kitchen table, that could sit 4 very comfortably. The pics he forwarded on didnāt even do the table justice!
I then begin to explain to Edward some of the issues I have been up against personally while decorating and expanding and finishing different areas of my house with those personal touches that makes it me and unique! Fortunately I was smart enough to bring photos of different projects and area of my home. Edward was amazing he allowed me to just have that person that understood I was on a very specific budget for a variety of reasons. There was no pressure and he picked up very quickly how I have a very unique classic eclectic taste. Edward made it so easy just to be able to spitball ideas off another person of what may or may not work in certain spaces. because there wasnāt a space for a full island in my kitchen with storage so I found something similar in more open but on wheels, so I can adjust the location as needed.
He was kind enough to make the point of ādonāt wait for the table if you love it! If you donāt love it, itās OK we get new stuff in all the time, you might find something you like better.ā Just being a human being and understanding that this was not necessarily a price budget concern though it always is these days it was more of the look and how it will appear and look in the space that goes with my personality and the final result of what Iām trying to accomplish. And let me say I hate shopping, I mean I HATE shopping! Edward actually made the experience fun for me! I just wanted to put Edward in my pocket and bring him home and say OK letās finish this project! Canāt thank them all enough. Donāt get me wrong the other staff was absolutely amazing! But I primarily was just was working with Edward at the time and because of all of that I will absolutely go back...

I have never met anyone who has such an OUTSTANDING customer service interaction. I work in customer service on a daily basis and wished my employees and fellow colleagues could all match the treatment I received Edward from Nadeau Charleston. He has taken the patience in helping me select my next piece and this is my first piece ever from Nadeau! if it wasnāt for the time and understanding and videos he sent me I would have found my dream piece. When I say that he takes the time, itās showing me every new arrival to my liking, comparing current furniture to see what looks best etc. i can go on and on about this location and this store but if Iām telling you I have shopped virtually with ALL Nadeau and feel this great about Charleston I can simply advise you that this one is by FAR THE BEST of them all.    Read moreMy fiancé and I had a recent experience at Nadeau. There is no doubt they have beautiful furniture. However, we bought 3 pieces (2 night stands and a dresser). Due to raining we were able to take the night stands at the time of sale and had to return to pick up the dresser 4 days later. At the date of pickup there were several scratches and a large chip that was not there at the time of purchase. The associate said that this likely happened during storage in their store but also said the store is not responsible for damages while stored. Her only solution was to stain over the dents and chips without even refinishing it. They offered no compensation for the damages they incurred. Nowhere in their policy (Terms of Sale) does it state they are not responsible for damages during storage. We felt her solution to the problem was suboptimal given the damages they incurred. The furniture sold is beautiful, but given this experience we will likely not be back. A warning to anyone shopping there: make sure you are able to take furniture with you the day of purchase to avoid any damages during...
