Mt. Pleasant Library — Attraction in Mount Pleasant

I don't write reviews on hardly anything, but my goodness. I come to the library for a place I can study in peace; however, I cannot for the life of me focus more than 10 minutes without loud conversations by staff and whomever wants to answer a phone call. I originally brought my air pods to listen to my CPA courses but I find myself using the noise cancellation feature until they die and I am smacked back into the obnoxious, loud social mixer known as the Mt unPleasant Library. operate 9am-8pm (! see schedule) like a new interior, everything is clean, fresh air separate rooms for children and teens many trees at the parking lot allow hide your car from sun. beautiful wild birds around friendly staff . only lobby for adults(a bit noisy) so you will hear all the slamming doors, printers, other visitors as well as child no HDMI ports in PC

BUT.....What in the world happened to QUIET???? I have never been to a library that was so disruptive with the incessant talking.... And talking loudly! No attempt whatsoever to whisper or be respectful for those therr trying to read or work. The worst part was it was employees.... Three of them gathered behind the desk as if they were at a Christmas party.... DON'T GO TO THIS LIBRARY IF YOU NEED...
