So I just want to start off by saying I think I’ve made a total of two bad reviews for restaurants in 37 years. I went to the drive-through, and the young man that took my order was very polite, and when the order was finished being placed, he told me to go around the corner to make my payment. To which I responded ”ok thank you”! as I proceeded to drive off the girl “Mallory” that was supposed to be around the corner to receive my payment started yelling, “sir, sir” to get my attention, so I would stop driving. Which in itself is not a problem what was the problem was when she was walking up to me she said very loudly and with extreme attitude. ”JESUS”! Rolled her eyes at me, and after I made the payment Proceeded to scarf at me, rolled her eyes again, and walked away with an attitude. Now because I’m an older adult I know that she was having a good conversation, laughing it up with her friends/coworkers while they were all three talking when I pulled up, which leads me to believe, she was trying to look cool in front of her friends/coworkers by loudly giving me attitude. If I’m not mistaken, if she was around the corner at her post when the young man pointed for me to go make my payment due. There would’ve been no issue because I would’ve pulled up to her and made the payment. But because she was hanging out with her coworkers around the corner where I placed my order she yelled at me to stop and gave me attitude because I was driving away from her. I then went to the window to pick up my food and spoke made the manager on duty aware of the situation. While I was talking to the manager, she walked out of the drive-through door, and rolled her eyes at me with another dirty look yet again. Now for this child to be working as a fast food employee and giving adults attitude for whatever reason is completely uncalled for unprofessional and just downright rude to say the least. being food and bev for over 20 years I understand everybody has their ups and downs, but this girl was laughing and smiling with her to coworkers when I pulled up, so obviously it was just her personality and her character that she’s a rude individual. I don’t know what action Chick-fil-A plans on taking with this young woman but I guarantee I will stop coming there altogether and my company as well as many others that I work with use Chick-fil-A to cater our events and functions. I know it’s not to blame the. The company as a whole but your customers are your money. If you allow your employees to disrespect people that keep the lights on that’s a problem. I specifically go to this location but now I’m reconsidering, because I never want to see that girl again. I was having a pretty rough day, and finally started to get a grip on it, and things were looking better then BOOM there’s MALLORY steps in to my life with her unprovoked uncalled for attitude. It completely set me off, she carries her self like an entitled child, which she should soon learn you are in an adult’s world, and there are certain people that will put you in your place. It’s seems off the one encounter with her she doesn’t seem fit to be in the service industry. How do you treat people in this world says a lot about you and also impacts other peoples lives. Probably more than the average person realizes be kind of someone and you could Brighton their entire day. Be rude to someone and you just cast shadows. I don’t normally let things this minimal affect me so strongly, but I was really having a rough day and she just...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews, but I've never really been treated like this before. I'm not expecting a fine dining experience...just to be treated like a human and for others to reciprocate the same respect that I give them. All of this over some sauce that I would have gladly (and did!) pay for...
My fiance and I went through the drive-thru today to grab lunch and bring lunch home for my parents, as well. The 3 of them eat the Chick-fil-a Sauce on their sandwich/nuggets and fries. We ordered 2 meals with large fries and nuggets for Mom. In the drive-thru, we asked for a few sauces with each meal, but, when we got the food, they forgot the sauce altogether. So, as passenger, I volunteered to go inside and grab the sauce they forgot. There was a manager?(I'm assuming,he had a different type of shirt on) behind the counter busy writing on a clipboard and a lady taking orders on the register. As soon as the lady finished up the customers in line, she looked over and asked if I needed something. I said I was in the drive-thru and didn't receive sauce for any of the meals. The man looked up and took over. He quickly picked up four sauces and asked, "How many do you need?" As regulars, they ritually get 3 with their meal, but as a nice round number, I asked for 10. This is when I genuinely felt like I was being reprimanded, like I had personally offended him in some way. He (loud enough to make everyone in my vicinity turn and look, mind you) replied, "I CAN'T GIVE YOU TEN! WE CAN'T JUST GIVE EVERYBODY THAT COMES IN TONS OF SAUCE LIKE THAT!" I calmly tried to clarify that it wasn't just 10 for me, that we ordered 2 meals with large fries and another entree of nuggets. To which he barked, "WAS IT A 30 PIECE?!" He continued, "I CAN'T GIVE YOU TEN. I CAN GIVE YOU 6 AND THAT'S THE MAXIMUM." Happy to purchase the other 4 sauces to be done with this man, I asked, "Ok, how much are they?" Still embarrassingly loud, he replied, "AAAA-LOT!! IT COSTS US A TON OF MONEY FOR THE SAUCE THAT WE JUST GIVE AWAY....etc,etc,etc!" NOT what I was asking! To try and clarify, I tried to ask, "So you can't sell me any?" I think he was too excited to listen, because he was still saying his "No's" and talking about the limit. I said ok and was starting toward the door when he finally blurted out that he could sell me 8oz "but that's it." Realizing my purse was in the car, I kept going. When he saw me come back in (to buy 3 tubs :))with my card in my hand, he slipped away through the swinging doors lightning fast. EVERYONE else there has always been wonderful, including today. I've never been talked to in such a rude manner. I was just in shock. I'm often mistaken for being much younger, but I'm 34 years old...and it's not ok to treat anyone like that,...
Read moreNot only have I had a wonderful experience every time I have visited this Chick-fil-A location when I've been to SC to visit, but I have to share this story from my Grandma, who is 84, and her husband. They visited in the last few weeks and experience a car issue that caused their car to die in the drive through right after they placed their order. I was talking to my Grandma on the phone from where I live in Ohio tonight and she told me that the woman who took their order escorted them inside to a table, and two other employees helped push the car out of the way of the line to a safe place. The Chick-fil-A staff brought their order to them in a short time and didn't charge them for it. My Grandma mentioned that all the while there was an event for families going on and the store was very busy, but they still found a table and created a comfortable experience for them. When they were finished eating, an employee came outside when he saw them go out and offered to help jump their car so that they could go home. He re-positioned the car so he could get to the front to jump it, and used his jumper cables to get it going again. This Chick-fil-A for took such wonderful care of them. As I mentioned before, I live over 500 miles away and can't be there in a moment to help out with these issues, but because Chick-fil-A cares so much and God had them at the right place at the right time, they were completely taken care of. Awesome job,...
