The Stone Mountain experience was tremendous, but my pet pea was the elderly man assisting people onto the Sky Ride around 10:30pm on Saturday, June 12, 2021 was very ignorant to the pandemic situation. He wanted me to be inside the Sky Ride with 40 other people inside a 30to40 by 30 rectangle. Everywhere else in the park there was social distancing except in that particular Ride up the top of the granite hill. He was very aggressive towards my wife and I and to top it all, he cramped in 10 others behind me. While at the same time saying you can fit up to 80 people in here. After I complained to him and stayed back, he the let less people in the Sky Ride. There are not enough places for anyone to hang on and on top of that we are in a pandemic which we have to maintain social distancing and he was a very disturbing and angry individual. I mentioned to other employees about him and they all just looked at me like, "He is like that." Which he shouldn't be and no employee should be afraid of him. I just know that I was trying not to mess my weekend and to just ignored him, but I know if I ever go again I will report him and post him all over social media. If anyone sees this old man, white, 5'6", with a white short beard and with a grumpy face...report him without remorse.

Beautiful walking area to see Stone Mountain. I had a dog with me so my family went on the Skyride and I stayed and walked around the Plaza. It’s a big sidewalk loop with a grassy center to sit and look at Stone Mountain. The views were perfect and the walk was shaded with lots of facts and restrooms available. There was some places to eat but they were not open at 11am. It was free to walk and I felt safe walking by myself as there were lots of park employees around.

Make sure to get there early, the lines start to turn to an hour plus after noon, especially on days with nice weather. Most of the staff are young and some don't really care to be there. Plan to ride to the top as soon as possible, the train ride wasn't all that it was cracked up to be, make other plans around the park

Boring light show. Needs to be updated, need more fireworks, music needs to be louder and the images need more quality. In this modern age it seems very 70s and charging $20xperson is outrageous out of this world for the quality of the show. Sky ride is awesome ride to the top and view the side as well as close up of sculpture is wonderful. The view from the top breathtaking, you can see as far as kennesaw mountain, downtown, midtown, buckhead and dunwoody. It's well worth it to take the hike thru the many trails, tons of parking space throughout the park, well secured with local law...
