McKnight Park — Attraction in Murfreesboro

I didn't play in the park area here just drove past it coming in to park the car. We came for Boro Beach swimming park and it was absolutely amazing especially for the price. It is regulated on how many people can be inside at once so the wait to get inside was a bit long but most definitely worth it for the price and the different activities inside. My only real complaint and concern came from the toddler slide since you can't go down the big slide if you use a flotation device nor can you go down with your child and my son is 3 and unable to swim. The bigger slides as well as the diving board were watched and regulated extremely carefully but the toddler slide was unsafe and dangerous my son was constantly getting pushed out of the way by the other kids even when his 10 yr old sister was with him she was even pushed out the way and the times I was with him I had to force the kids back as well as force them to move out of the bottom bc they were just sitting there piling up and some were even trying to come up backwards. I think they need a staff member posted at the slide to regulate the kids bc one day a small kid is going to get pushed and fall and get seriously hurt not to mention the parents need to watch their children as well and stop allowing their kids to physically put their hands on anyone it makes me sick just thinking about it especially when most where bigger children doing it. Really other than that and having to wait in line for quite a long time it wasn't too bad. Also you aren't able to bring in outside food or drinks but they do have a concession stand (cash only), and bathrooms with showers and lockers are available also. McKnight Softball Park is a great place for everyone who has a female child who wants to learn and play softball in Murfreesboro, TN in Middle TN! I was at a softball tournament last weekend on June 28 & 29, 2025. The women's restrooms were the cleanest out of this WHOLE STATE OF TN where these Girl competitive softball tournaments are held within a 300 mile radius!!! I have observed throughout this state for well over 10 yrs., and THIS complex IS THE Dazzling Star in a group, where the owners of other softball complexes in surrounding counties who FAIL miserably by offering clogged toilets overflowing, full of human fecal waste, the amount of pride that the Owners take in their facilities in not addressing healthy hygiene in any measure in any bathroom or building they offer to their paying public, and parking & walking conditions that will not swallow up your vehicles suspension or break your leg to get into the complex because of crater deep potholes!!!! The people of Rutherford County TN CARE ABOUT THE COMMUNITY AND THEIR out of town VISITORS health & welfare that visit this Softball complex!!!!! Bravo McKnight...

A fantastic park! The play area was clean and well kept with plenty of safety features. The equipment was varied and will keep your little ones of all ages occupied for hours.

There was equipment that encouraged physical play, but also equipment that encouraged imaginative play, too!

We took our 1 1/2 and 4 1/2 yr old grands and they had a great time! There were kids up to 11-12 yrs old there as well. What impressed me most was the interaction of the older kids with the younger kids. Some older girls were happy to include our grand-d in their their play, and some older boys, though rambunctious, carefully played around the little ones.
