STAY AWAY!!!!! My husband and I had visited this store a few times before it was closed/re-opened, we always had issues with wait time for food/service friendliness. After is was reopened, we tried again, our 1st return visit (the week of the grand reopening) was great! We decided since our last visit was pleasant to try again today, BIG mistake!! The staff is ill prepared/unknowledgeable regarding the register/ordering process. The line was backed up when we arrived and seemed to move decently so we waited. It took 30 minutes of our lunch hour to order/receive our food. The people (3) who were in line behind us had their order plated/served while we were still waiting on a large drink cup, steak biscuit, cheddar bo and tender meal. I heard the request for the cheddar bo 3 different times during our now 40 minute experience/wait, finally someone hands me a large cup and says it will be 3 minutes before the cheddar bo is ready, I requested a refund!
Afterward the manager came out with the cheddar bo (after our refund and voiced dissatisfaction) and we request she she take it back. My husband also asked for a manger and she said “I am the shift manager.” He requested she sit with us for a moment and hear our concerns/issues. She did sit, however, did NOT hear and/or listen to the issues on hand. She only made/had excuses for the extended wait time and poor service by saying...”we're new here, this is a new store not the one before, the staff is all new, my girl on the register is new, my biscuit maker is new and didn't know what she was doing.” First rule in customer service....from TWO customer service oriented professionals...NO excuses, apologies only, own it and fix it and NOT at the request of your customer. Make your customer feel as tho you are concerned and you do care if they are satisfied and return to your store!! The manager actually did not sit but a minute maybe two and got up and walked off WHILE my husband was still speaking to her!!! He/we were not rude or disruptive simply trying to help her improve her store with some insight from her customers.
Next issue of concern with the staff/management is appearance. It should be with GREAT effort...especially in the food business...that ALL your hair is pulled back and fingernails should NOT be long, acrylic and polished with different colors and designs. You should also always appear to service your customer with a sense of urgency, as if they are the only customer your are servicing during your interaction time with them, this was certainly NOT the case at that store today. There was NO urgency, NO concern, NO care, NO interest in us as customers! We will NOT visit this...
Read moreI am am employee at the BoJangles on Memorial Blvd in Murfreesboro. I went in earlier around 12:40-12:45pm on 4/3/2016. The drive thru was backed into the road like Chick fil A. I decided to go in and it was also packed. I stayed and the front line guy Anthony told me it would be a minute. I told him I know how busy it can get and I agreed to wait. I ordered a gravy biscuit combo with fresh bo-rounds and a chocolate milk. Now everyone that was there before me was complaining about how sorry the restaurant was and the new dude Khalil was being trained on a Sunday. A lady stated that was the wrong day and time to train somebody. He was real clueless. An older guy even banged on the pickup counter at least 9 times complaing. So after all the confusion on front counter, I was the only one left up there. I just leaned over to watch how things were going. I asked if I could get my food and Anthony and another employee stated that I was an employee and that I would have to wait and they laughed and walked off. I told them both that today I was not on the clock nor was I in uniform so I am a customer. They proceeded to walk around and fixed 2 more guest order that were after me. I asked the lady in drive thru which her name was BreAnna to see if the bo-rounds were fresh. She picked one up with the tongues and told me to see for myself. I told her no I was not. She rudely said well I'm in drive thru and I'm not tasting it. I snapped before I knew it. I told them they were slow and sorry. That's my place of employment and I was treated like a bum off the streets. I hate to bash my job but that was ridiculous. I asked for my money back. Anthony had a problem with that. After I wanted a refund, Khalil then decided to get my order....
Read moreThe food has changed in recent years and it has gone downhill significantly. Now it is the worst chicken place in town and one of the worst places I've ever eaten. My whole family used to love Bojangles, but we were so disappointed!! First of all, the potatoes have literally no flavor. I started with them and panicked, thinking I had Covid again! I added a bunch of salt and butter, and then at least it tasted like salt and butter. But it didn't taste like potatoes. It tasted like water. The rest of the meal was the same except the chicken, which was too spicy, imo. And dry. The fries used to be one of our favorite, but every time we go get them, then are hard and dry as if they just keep refrying the same fries over and over.
And when you spend a minimum of $50 every time you go to feed a family of 3 because they are so expensive, it just isn't worth it. Absolutely not. Also, the atmosphere gets a 3 because I've never actually been inside - only in the drive thru.
We have no plans to ever go again, ever.
*Added Note: Bojangles, for the past 7 months and beyond (that's just how far I got in my reading before I felt compelled to come back and add to my comment) you have bad review after bad review after bad review.... doesn't that tell you something?? And before you try and say that "people only leave bad reviews", that isn't true and not at that frequency. Pick another restaurant and I doubt they will be as bad or as often. This should tell you that something needs to change. Especially when the reviews are consistently about 1.) Bad/undercooked food and 2.) Bad customer service. It is only a matter of time before you end up with a lawsuit about your bloody,...
