I had an exceptional experience this past Sunday at Firehouse subs, thanks to Kevin! I was having a hard time making up my mind on what to order. I was starving and everything sounded good to me! There wasn’t a line, so I was taking my time to look over the menu, Kevin was patient and didn’t rush me, he asked me what I usually get I told him the New York Steamer, then he asked do I usually order it like it come or do I change it up. I told him how I get it and he said that sounded good he will have to try it that way sometime. Then he asked me what I was in the mood for? I told him, wasn’t sure, I’m starving, and everything sounds good. Then he threw out some Ideas, I told him I didn’t know nothing really jumped out at me. He was still patient and smiling and talking with me. The rest of my family finished ordering and I told him I still can’t figure out what I want, so I asked him, what do you like from here? He told me the Spicy Cajun Chicken, then he told me what all came on and then how he orders it when he gets it, so I told him let go with the way you get it, it sounds perfect! BTW It is now my new favorite Sub for Firehouse. The reason I went into so much detail about our conversation is because I manage a good size business that deals with people and our customer service had been our key to success! It's so hard anymore for people to be patient or even friendly with one another. Think about the last time you went to a restaurant or business, then think did they make eye contact, or did they smile? Then ask yourself, did it feel genuine? Did it feel like they even enjoyed being there talking to you and the only reason they smiled was because it was their job and they get in trouble if they didn’t. Well, Kevin made me feel welcome to be at Firehouse subs and he made me feel like he cared about what I wanted to eat and wanted to make sure I enjoyed it and was happy. It seemed genuine and not forced! Now he might have cared less and been faking it! Even if he was it never felt like it and honestly It doesn’t matter, because I still made me feel like I mattered, and he was glad I was there! It was refreshing to go to a business and feel you are not just another person in a line that they must deal with. Kevin gave me the kind service would expect to get a fine dining restaurant or a five-star hotel! So, I give a big shout out to KEVIN keep treating people like you treated me and keep doing the little extra things like you did with me, and you will stand out, you will shine and go far! Best of luck Kevin! I enjoyed...
Read moreMy Wife placed an order for a hook and ladder sandwich combo and a meatball marinara sub combo to go. She was not given a receipt and upon returning home we discovered that 2 hook and ladder sandwiches were given. She called the store requesting to have it corrected and asked if I could go pick it up and she was told yes that was fine and that nothing else was needed. Upon my arrival I was told by the front counter employee and the manager Hannah that I needed to show pictures that the 2 sandwiches given were wrong because they believed I was lying. I have patronaged this store multiple times with no issue so to have an experience like this is extremely disappointing. So to prove to Hannah that I wasn't lying i called my wife and she sent me the pictures proving the restaurants error. Then after my sandwich was remade I asked Hannah for the corporate phone number which she claimed she didn't have and then I asked for the store number which she also claimed she didn't have and that she was just the "shift manager". This will be the final time I will visit any firehouse subs location in Rutherford county. You have lost a 10+...
Read moreOrdered two sandwiches through Door dash. They left out half of our order. Called Door Dash back, they came back to get the order, we asked for a remake of our order. They brought back the half that they originally made (room temperature / cold)and the other sadwich they left off that was fresh. I can understand missing an item. But then to knowingly send back the old jacked up order cold is unacceptable. The old food made it's way around town three times before it got back to us. It looked as you would imagine. The Door dash lady was amazing, but she can't make a business treat people like a...
