Murrieta Ranch Preschool — Attraction in Murrieta

My son, was going to start day care here. As I dropped all the documents to getting started for the next day. I was speaking to Mrs. Dena, I told her thank u so much I heard nothing but good things here. I stated, my son’s aid will be here with him tomorrow. She said” what do u mean aid?” I said yeah, my son is autistic.” He was just diagnosed. She said” IF U WOULD OF TOLD ME HE WAS AUTISTIC I WOULD OF TOLD U NO!” I said but he has a Aid, u have seen him. Dena, states “ we tried with two other kids that were autistic and it didn’t work”. They get over stimulated. I said what!! I asked to speak to the owner. I called Mrs. Alyssa and spoke to her and told her thank u for giving us a chance she said we can try but some kids get over stimulated. So next day came time to drop off. I got there to give Dena the reminder of the paperwork, her response was rude and said u can take him to the class 7. I ignored her rudeness. I dropped of his teacher created us friendly. Welcoming. My son was going to be picked up by the bus at 11:15 - to go to his iep classes. So the bus never picked up, I head up to take him my self I find my son outside with his aid. Dena, comes out and tells me this is one of the reasons why I told u he wouldn’t be a good fit. We don’t have the time to make sure he gets off and on the bus. I said, he has aid that can help out, or I can come do it. My son was there and Dena made it so clear that he was not wanted so he said “ Mommy it’s ok I don’t have to come here. Dena, treated us as if my son has a contagious disease. People need to be educated on how to treat people.be more sensitive to families and children with autism. Not every child is the same. Murrieta Ranch Preschool is an absolute dream. I am so thankful my daughter was able to attend. All of the teachers are exceptional and so kind to my daughter. My daughter is happy and excited to go to school each morning and when I pick my daughter up from school she loves to tell me about her day and everything that happened. My daughter's speech and social skills improved dramatically when she joined the school. My daughter has been at Murrieta Ranch since preschool. She’s had Ms. Barbara and Ms. Donna. Both how been such a blessing. They truly love and are passionate about what they do.
