CityGate Centre — Attraction in Naperville

My wife and I came to the lounge in this hotel. We did not stay at the hotel, just went to the lounge for some drinks on a very special night. I made a request to have a table reserved at 9pm with a rose or flower at the table for my wife. I got 3 calls that next day. The first was a woman confirming my time and advised they do not do special requests. Ok that's fine, I'm thinking. I understand. Then about 2 hours later I get a call from a guy confirming my reservation again, and again I was advised they do not do requests like this. Again, I was ok with that. I figured it was worth a try. No biggie. The. I get a call about an hour later from another guy confirming my reservation. He them advised me they don't do requests like the rose but he has an orchid available that he can place at the table. I was gracious for this and told him we would be there and thank you so much. So, we walk in, the lounge has a few people in it. I walk over to the host, give him my name and he says sit anywhere you like. I look around and not a single table was reserved and no flower for wife on any table. Ok, I was disappointed naturally. But it's not the end of the world. Someone forgot or just didn't pass the word on. Let me say, the drinks were great, service when there was spot on, and a very quaint comfy place to hang out. If that stuff was not on point, I would have rated lower. I would just ask that if you say you will do something, do it. That's all. Plus, it confuses me that a hotel would not have any fresh flowers on hand. Especially a swanky...

Went to Che Figata for breakfast. We ordered the basket with breads and pasteries. We got bowl of yogert with fruit and granola and three small pasteries. We didn,t say anything. We were also suppose to get orange juice which came with breakfast snd coffee. Never got O.J. and charged for coffees.I did bring it up about coffee he took off menu. Our waiter I don,t think understoon English well.He was the only one there waiting tables and it started to become busy.There were a lot of people staying there because of a wedding near by. We had to ask for butter and jelly for our breads we got.Very expensive and poor service. And you don,t get what,s on the menu.I did buy a loaf of bread there that was exceptional. They need to get there employees up to par and have more staff when they know hotel...
