Beach Access — Attraction in Naples

The Naples beach is as good as it gets. Open to the public from one end to the other, with lots of access points. Palm trees galore, the delightful Pier, and it's not a barrier island: it's right in the heart of town! But don't come in the winter...too crowded. Parking can be difficult near the Naples Pier but, the experience is worth it. Lovely clean beach with bathroom facilities. Walk the pie, not too long! There is a pavilion on the end for shade. Fisherman are frequently trying their luck. We saw two kinds of pelicans and we facinated by the dolphin who put on quite a show for over half an hour. The beach is plenty deep here for everyone. Easily within walking distance to the pier without being in the pier's traffic pattern. Not as much parking here as at other access points but if you get a spot, it's easy to make a quick get away after the sun goes down.
