Due to covid you had to sign a waiting list to get in which is totally understandable I got there at 5:30 the place closes at 6 I waited outside until 6 and they came and told me was closed and then acted like they were doing me a favour by letting me come in I stated I've been here half an hour and they apologised about the way like that's what I was talking about I don't care that I waited half an hour I am offended that they shut off the open lights and open the door to tell me they were closed when I bend there After I walked in someone walked past me and another worker immediately told me mmm were closed I said I know I just got let in one minute ago I've been waiting half an hour I have to say I can explain the experience But I felt unwanted and unwelcome and it's also bad customer service. At the end when I tried to cash out one of the girls took me to the back so that I could use the machine back there and didn't ask that I was only cash she told me they couldn't take cash and watched me to the front and disappeared she then walked away nowhere to be seen in left me in a crowd of people feeling awkward because she said she take me up to the front register and transfer the order then she comes back 4 Are you gonna take me and she said "who's ever ready next" she literally took To the back rang me up abandoned me on the way to the front then went to take other people to the back and once again acted like she had no idea what was going on or like they were doing me a favour by ringing the up next when now I was the one who is ready to go and had been ready because their behaviour made me almost not want to buy anything to begin with and I was trying to keep positive Ives with their customer service and honestly lack of intelligence was too much to bear and I won't be back no matter how good their...

First, the new location is larger and more clearly organized than the previous store. Some folks feel this space lacks spiritual energy because it is a largely open floor plan. I understand that the space doesn't have the same "secret room/occult shop" vibe that the previous space had, but it provides much more room for their incredible inventory, and allows staff to better observe those in the store. They don't want to do it, they would rather chat about crystals and aura readings with you! But this is a business, and there are people with sticky fingers and few ethics in the world. Don't blame the store for adapting to other people's poor choices.
Second, the no-bag policy. It is announced on the door, and guests are politely made aware of the policy when they enter. Bags are kept behind the counter - which is in the center of the store, not in some private back room. I don't mind leaving my bag with them - it's never more than a few feet from me while I'm shopping, and keeps my hands free to shop. (My husband does NOT agree, so he keeps his gear in the car when we go in.) Either way, no one is "grabbing" or "taking" your belongings. They hate having to ask you, so just know the policy is there and plan ahead.
I love that we have Cosmic Connections in Nashville. It's a special place, and the people are lovely. Not everything is affordable for me, and not everything they sell is of interest to me - but I can always find something that speaks to me.
I don't like to sound preachy, but some of the bad reviews made me feel the need to speak up. I really hope you'll visit Cosmic Connections if you're in the area, I think...

I found cosmic connections on google, and was blown away by the amazing selection of anything metaphysical you could ever want, amazing service and fair prices. I became a regular pretty quickly and the staff remembered me almost immediately - there are two employees that I love like friends now after a year of shopping with cosmic, Kat and James. When my father was dying, I mentioned to Kat that I was on the way to the hospital a few blocks over and that he was very sick. She hugged me and comforted me for a long time and asked for updates each time I went and continued to be a source of warmth and comfort to me, she truly was one of the people that helped me through that time and after my Dad passed away. She also let my son pick a free Mickey Mouse toy out of a toy bin they had for kids last Christmas. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful! James always remembers me, is always friendly and we have great talks every time I see him, even if he is clearly busy doing retail business type tasks. They treat my 7 year old rambunctious child like heās any other customer, and he has so much fun when I take him! I truly love the cosmic connections staff as much as their products - and they have a lot of products!!
