Hidden Creek Music — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

I’m a guitarist in Nashville and was doing some studio guitar tracks for a friend of mine recently. He was recording at Hidden Creek. The studio is for those looking to escape the hustle and the rigidity that often accompanies the fast-paced music scene in the city. Hidden Creek is only about a 20 minute drive from downtown, yet is tucked away in a serene forest setting. It’s easily the most relaxed I’ve felt in a studio, and I could tell I would love this place as soon as I walked through the door—a sentiment doubly felt after speaking with Kevin Grenier, the engineer and owner of the studio. Kevin is wicked easy to work with and is incredibly reasonable with pricing, especially for the high-caliber work he does. He uses ProTools and high-end equipment such as Neumann mics. I was recently hired to do some session work for an artist at Hidden Creek Music and can't say enough good things about the experience. The team at Hidden Creek has made a priority out of making artists feel comfortable in their studio, often in subtle and easily overlooked ways, and it really helped bring the best from all of the musicians tracking there. Kevin is an extremely knowledgable engineer, and has a knack for delivering insightful feedback in an encouraging and collaborative manner, and Sarah was extremely helpful in working with the artist to craft complementary harmonies for the songs parts. Beyond that, the studio is comfortable, clean, loaded with good snacks and drinks for their bands, and the songs we made here ended up sounding fantastic. I have been working on an EP project at Hidden Creek Music and I can say that I've never had a more positive and productive sessions with anyone other than Kevin here in Nashville. The vibe in his studio is creative, easy, and fun.
