JiHAN INTERNATIONAL MARKET — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

I really don't know what to say here! But it bolts down to customer service at the end. Several weeks ago and as usual I was at the check out, I believe one of the owners or the manger on duty offer me a baklava I am not sure it was baklava but like baklava this particular pastry like baklava he offer was so , so tasty after I left the store I had to come back and get some more because it was so delicious. Now, several days ago I was in again this time I saw the same delicious pastry at the counter and this time I bought 2 lbs. Thinking that my taste buds are going to be thanking me later on..... Boy o' boy was I wrong or wrong...! I was totally disappointed...! I called back a few hours later to say a few thing about it the gentleman who answer the phone was nothing but understanding and put the all the blame on me.. I felt like switched and baited... what a terrible feeling! Terrible customer service! He tells me I should have asked him a sample before I purchased 2 lbs of it. I told hime he should have told me it isn't the same pastry/baklava...! Bottom line is beware! Ask to taste before you buy anything thinking that you are buying the same thing you are buying previously you enjoyed so much of! Clearly it isn't...

Finally ...ive found Lebanese style shawrma in Nashville :)).... When i heard about this place and they offering these great shawarmas I just had to go try em. Walking in this is a basically an all in one market, offering a bakery, groceries, other home items. But when you look on the right side as soon as you walk in you can see heaven, the 2 meats being cooked and 2 guys standing.

I ordered a chicken and beef, they ask you what kind of bread you would like the thick or the thin Persian bread, I opted for the Persian. The way the cook handles cutting the meat and the other person dressing up the bread with salad and sauces you can tell they have a lot of experience in doing this. The 2 cooks are tag team experts and don't miss a beat. The sandwich is presented in a very professional chef manner for you to eat.

I loved the shawarmas we used to get here. I have seen that they have a butchery there and recommended this place to a friend to buy lamb. The service received during COVID time was terrible. No staff at the store wore masks or bothering to keep distance. All the customers were wearing masks. My friend who was at the meat section trying to buy meat was asked by the staff to take his mask off by the staff when he was speaking. When my friend refused to take off his mask the staff assisting him said rudely he cant hear him and he should come closer. We didn't want to approach the guy since he wasn't wearing any mask or seem bothered about COVID safety. This was disappointing and we eventually ended up going to another store nearby to buy the meat. I hope the staff recognizes how this treatment can offend customers and try...
