McCabe Park — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

Playground may cover a lot of area here. In addition to a playground, this area has a community center, golf course, baseball diamond, and a greenway trail for bikes and hikers. The community center offers a number of activities including low cost exercise classes for all ages, crafts, indoor track, weight room, and activity room. The golf course has a driving range, practice putting and chipping green, and club house with lockers, showers, and a snack bar. The playground at McCabe is a great part of the sylvan Park community. It is conveniently located next to the McCabe Community Center, the little league fields, McCabe Hf Course and the shops and dining in Sylvan Park. Many families in sylvan park walk or bike to the playground.

It is great for kids of all ages. But definitely keep an eye on toddlers, as it’s easy for them to climb areas that may be too dangerous for them.

Perfect park for an evening walk! The sections of the trail that are boardwalked through the woods are so peaceful and provide a nice change of scenery. The 2.8-mile loop is the perfect length for a pre- or post-dinner stroll, and my wife has loved it during her pregnancy. Tons of parking too, which can be a problem at other parks....
