Everything about this evening was literally perfect from the time we arrived, till the time we left. Every staff member was extremely friendly and courteous. We showed up a little early for our reservation, but they seated us right away and we got a nice romantic secluded table by a window right up front so we could see outside. The atmosphere was very quiet and romantic. Most of all the FOOD!!! The food was pure perfection from the first bite to the last. From the Wagyu Meatballs and Butternut Squash Bisque we had for appetizers to the entrees. I had the Filet Mignon and it was probably one of the best tasting and most perfectly cooked steak I’ve ever had. Every bite melted in my mouth. The potato fingerlings, sautéed asparagus and onion rings were a perfect compliment to the steak. My wife had the 3-cheese Tortellini and she ate every single bite (except for the few I stole from her.) 😬 Then came time for the dessert and we had the Dark Chocolate Mousse Tart along with a Cappuccino Martini. The highlight of the evening is when one of the managers, Amanda, stopped by our table and we had a lovely chat. She had such an amazing personality and you could tell she loves going above and beyond to make her guests feel like part of the family when they dine with Park Cafe. This was our anniversary dinner and as such, we received a couple of glasses of complimentary Prosseco, courtesy of Amanda. Such a nice gesture on her part and a wonderful way to end the evening. I can’t recommend Park Cafe enough for the food, atmosphere and wonderful staff. We will definitely be making this a regular stop for our...
Read moreWe came here to celebrate my 10 years of sobriety and had an awful experience. From the moment we were sat the experience was awful it took 9 minutes before Tes came and threw menus down and tried to run off before taking out drink order. It was then another 24 minutes until the drinks hit the table. Our food even came before our first round of drinks despite ordering them at the same time. Once our food was brought by another server Tes walked by our table a minimum of 7 times and while acknowledging her other tables and never came back to check on us once. Our drinks remained empty. When we expressed our frustrations she offered no explanation or apology, the issue was never even raised to a manager. She dropped our check and that was it. I cannot believe this place is still open. As a repeat guest I thought we would have similar experiences to our prior visits but I could not have been more wrong. Tes even left off the dessert we requested to go when we ordered our food. Total wash of an experience. I*f you get Tes as a server, prepare to be neglected and judged based on your appearance. The icing on the cake, while not the restaurant's fault, was that we were seated next to a group of cackling women who we could not even have a conversation due to them being so loud. 10/10 won't be back. Total...
Read morePark Cafe on Murphy was the PERFECT CHOICE—After celebrating with my first grandson’s dedication at church, I was looking for a truly great brunch place—this did NOT disappoint!!!! For the 8 of us we began with an order of cinnamon sugar rolls (think Tennessee’s version of beignets) and an order of monkey bread. My, my!!! Both of these were served hot and were excellent…the main course varied according to the individual’s distinct tastes—the Chicken sausage scramble was ordered by 2 of our party and they loved the ‘mash up’ of flavors and textures. The Steak Benedict and the Crab Cake Benedict were exceptional—I tried several bites of each and was delighted—the uniqueness of the crab cake flavor and the eggs was SO pleasing while the steak flavor (southern fried) was not my favorite but still full of flavor. The scrambled eggs, Gouda grits, bacon, and fruit bowls were the side items ordered and they were delectable—not like coming off a large griddle or from a vat over overcooked grits typically served like this—no, these were perfectly prepared, full of flavor, needed no condiments nor salt/pepper…just perfect! This was my first time here, but...
