Fryce Cream — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I had always wanted to go to Fryce Cream but never had the opportunity to - until my coworkers took me for my birthday lunch today! I was really excited to finally try it out and we decided to visit the Donelson location. It would have been everyone's first time there.

Upon arriving, an older gentlemen was training a new employee (showing where the ice cream and such was). When we walked up to the register, we noticed the TV screen with the menu wasn't working. He mentioned it was because the menu had just changed. Eh, tech issues happen. No biggie - he could walk us through what they had right?

Well, one of my coworkers asked about what was on the menu. Instead of telling us about the dusts, dips, and toppings, he threw his arms up in the air (several times) and said "What do you want me to tell you? We have french fries and ice cream." It was such a disorienting and jarring experience. I was so disappointed by the service; it was not a kind or welcoming experience at all. I understand folks have bad days, but the exasperation directed at us was completely out of nowhere and totally unwarranted.

We ended up leaving without getting anything. If I ever think about going to Fryce Cream again, it would not be this location and I really hope this man was not a...

I really, really wanted to like this. It wasn’t bad, but $12 for a large fry and some soft serve ice cream was hefty for what it was. The ice cream was good, but nothing different than what you might get at sonic or anywhere else. The fries were good and crispy, and just regular fries, nothing special. I got the crack sauce with the fries, which came in a small to go container that held a little over one and a half tablespoons of sauce. I don’t think I’ll be going back much at all for the value of the food...

The ice cream and fries were okay. The service was quick and friendly. The thing that won’t be bringing me back is the Onlyfans reference on their menu. This is a place clearly welcoming of children and families. I’d ask the owners to check in with their brand identity and understand that maybe a porn site shouldn’t be referenced on a menu that children and young adults will be reading. I’m no prude, but it totally rubbed me the wrong way while I was waiting for my items and surrounded...
