Donelson Plaza — Local services in Nashville-Davidson

I love a good shopping experience, and I love shopping local. However shopping at my local Southern Thrift I left with a sinking feeling in my stomach.. So thrift stores are great because they can sell the things that our community throws away. With that being said, I cannot justify spending $50 dollars for a throwaway recliner that someone was going to discard and throw in the dump. And the horror continued throughout the store. The trend continues at other stores I'm Nashville with Goodwill being the worst I would rather spend just a few dollars more and buy something new.. Long overdue update... Southern Thrift has closed it's doors. Hmmm... I can't...

Lots of construction which is ok, BUT the new parking lot area is HORRIBLE! What were you thinking? There are far fewer parking spaces, the spaces are too small and it's hard to get in & out. You have ruined the plaza for shoppers. It will be interesting to see if the poor decisions continue when the landscaping is completed. Will there be bushes that will grow out so drivers can't see to back up from a parking space, move around the parking lot or pull out onto...

Visited Strike and Spare Bowling Dungen because it would have been my first job as a 17 year old. It's been 55 years ago and found the only thing changed is smoking rule.
