Patel Brothers — Attraction in Nashville-Davidson

This place is good for authentic food. It has a good atmosphere and good prices too! The store is well kept and very clean, they are always replacing and restocking so there is no need for worry on items or them not having what you need. They have household items and food stuffs, a fresh food court and bakery. I would recommend coming here if you are busy and need good ingredients or if you just wanted some snacks too. Great place and good prices. Beats other big name store chains lol.

So if you are reading this far I am leaving my original comment because I stood behind it. I will not lie about this review I feel four stars is adequate but I am not sure if it is lasting. I was and still am impressed with their selection size, huge is not an understatement. I worry though but do not fault the store or the owners or anything as far as bashing or insulting them. These times are tough and it’s a time we should be more understanding and able to accept that sometimes things are mot going to be as we would wish them to be. But if I can say anything it is that I have mot yet seen a consistent lack of trying on part of the management and staff. They do have spirit and hood efforts, but when the day comes that they stop trying to do their best is the day I change my review star selection. I want them to go higher. But I ultimately leave your own experience as judge. I still shop here, and have no intention of stopping...

😡😡a discrimination market. Not fair for all the people. Today, I went to this market with my family. The market was busy there, so we stayed in line. At the same time, The No. 1 check-out is open. We thought they opened that line, so we stayed in that line. But when my turn came to check -out. I put all my items on the conveyor belt. There was one guy. He is working on that line. Maby be he is a lead of that market. he looked up at my face and he told me to put it back on my cart. . When I asked why? He said this is express line . Again when I asked what is express? he replied this line is only for 20 items. He show me one paper posted on the stick but there was written only express line. Why they didn't write no more than 20 itrems even though he did for other why not my iteems? Even though I didn’t have more than 20 items. I stayed in there to watch other peoples how he do but he did other people more 20 items which is not fair. All people are Indian. He did only for Indian people why? This market is not for other people. He was talking about my child also. He says you have a child also Why was they saying that? First of all, I would start by saying Patel Brothers is a blessing for lovers of Indian food. Had it not been there, I would have missed the presence of Indian food in my life. Having said that, there are still significant improvements when it comes to options offered by them: I often find there frozen section missing items like paranthas. Also, in order to promote their in-house brand “Swad” they have started neglecting other options, for e.g. they no longer offer “Maggi” brand ketchup and the only ones they have are Heinz and Swad, the latter being HORRIBLE. Its very safe to say that their in-house brand “Swad” is SUB-STANDARD. Now moving onto their kitchen and hot food area: Guys, please stay from the area, the oil used to cook food is of really bad quality. Since the inauguration of the new place, I have tasted the food 3-4 times, and every time except the very first time (which was on the opening day of their kitchen) I had an upset stomach.
