Car Audio City — Attraction in National City

This Place is a piece of junk.. I had my alarm and stereo hooked up since i didnt feel like doing it my self.. These jokers charge an ok price for the installation.. about $70 dollars more.. didnt really mind since I was lazy to do it my self.. One of the guy that installed my car was pretty helpful. However the owner or the guy upfront ripped me off big time. after all my equipment was pulled apart from my car I was told that my double DIN needed a dash cover that will fit my car. only $20 if i buy it online (highest price) but these guys charged me $60 bucks.. Since i had no choice I went and paid for it.. then they told me that i needed some type of harness to which again triple the price original.. So they finally finished and when I got home, I realized that my side mirror was not working.. and tmy back up camera was coming off. I took it back and they fixed the camera. However the wire was loose and touching the tires... and they forgot to fix my side mirror. I came back and the guy was trying to charge me more because he said I should have told them that before i left.. These mo'fos are crazy.. yeah maybe i should have checked it but i trusted them to fixed it since i told them. Bunch of money hungry people with no customer service.. If your in the military or a high school student dont come here.. specially if you dont know much about car. they will rip you off.. I saw two military last time I went there getting rip off like crazy. I just didnt say anything coz the guy seemed like he didnt care... but dont come to this place.. Great place, Moe was extremely helpful and he really wanted to ensure i was happy with the service. I got a viper alarm system installed there, originally was with the SmartStart module, that allows you to use your smart phone to start, lock and unlock, among many other things, your car. Well, i got home after picking my car up and nothing was working correctly. The phone app wouldn't do anything to the car except track it and the keychain remotes only armed and unarmed the car and not lock or unlock it. So the next day i took the car back first thing in the morning and explained to them that nothing was working. They tell me that they would probably need to keep the car all day to look at it and fix it, which was a little annoying, but i understood considering it was an unexpected drive in. So Moe calls me about an hour later and suggests i upgrade the system to Vipers newest one for only a few dollars more and also gives me money back for the smart start module since i wouldn't need it anymore. I said go for it, and a few hours later i pick my car up and everything works perfectly. Moe was great in keeping me updated on the status of the car and also ensuring that i was happy. It was a little pricey, but i am overall satisfied with the end results. Just make sure when you bring your car in they do a good job looking it over, they missed that my car was a 6 speed at first, which caused some of the complications from the start. So here’s the rub as they say: I’ve had a classic car that I’ve wanted some work on and went to a few places. Long story short it felt like I was being trying to be sold on things even though I gave them a specific budget. Yasir and the gentleman working with him worked with my budget to be able to get stereo and alarm system put on my 66 galaxie without making me feel like I should have put bigger speakers and a bigger subwoofer. I like a normal sounding sub and enjoyed having them work on my car. Heck, although they could have cleaned the interior a little bit I felt the tech was super knowledgeable about my car so I tipped him for taking caution when removing the rear seats and installing the amp.

Overall, yes I did vacuum my car myself after since I found a little piece of plastic here and there, but for the price, the knowledgeable tech, and working with my budget rather than trying to sell me something I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone I know.
