I deliver for this sonic. Tonight I had an order and was told they already gave the order to another driver. Oh really? Guess what happened. I contacted Uber and let them know. Uber forces me to cancel the order and now my cancellation rate goes up. An hour later I get a notification saying I Am being blamed for picking up an order but “ did not mark them as picked up in the Uber app • did not start the trips, or • did not complete the delivery.
So now my job and account is being put in jeopardy. Why? Because these employees are handing orders out to god only knows who without confirming the driver pressed complete/confirm pickup. So the order gets sent to driver after driver after driver. Never actually getting to the customer at all because this Sonic won’t do their job and make sure the order was confirmed/completed pickup. Handing the order isn’t confirmation. You must ask the driver to show proof they completed the pickup. That’s the only way to make sure the food doesn’t get stolen!!! Otherwise your customer never gets their food and you jeopardize honest drivers like me and I risk losing my job because you guys won’t do your job to make sure orders are given out correctly. I’m sick of this. I’m so sick of this. I keep getting sent to this sonic and other restaurants and they won’t make the order because they claim they already gave it to someone. Whose fault is that? Why didn’t you verify who you handed the order to and whether they confirmed pickup. I drive all the way to this sonic only to be told they won’t make/give you the order because some teenager already gave the order without checking who they gave it to or why it was never confirmed picked up. Does the owner care? No. Do the employees care? No. Because all they care about is not taking any accountability and forcing all of it on honest drivers like me who are just trying to pick up an order they never should’ve given out to someone without first confirming the driver press confirmed pickup or completed pickup. The reason drivers keep getting sent to pickup the same order is because sonic management and the employees are handing out orders without verifying ANYTHING. Store owner, if you are listening, let’s talk. Because you guys aren’t operating your deliveries right and you’re screwing your drivers over by not having basic protocols to ensure the customer gets what they paid for. I get blamed because it looks like I canceled the order but I have NO OPTIONS because Sonic won’t give me the order they failed to properly send out by verifying it was picked up. They take zero accountability for their mistakes. They have zero protocols and not a care in the world whether the customer gets their food or not. The cheesy bacon sonic stack was probably the most horrible fast food I have ever had. It is Texas toast size bread, but no toasting. I asked for extra pickles and there were just a few, extra $0.49 for what 1 more pickle chip?? The bread was just dry, very little ketchup, a very small meat patty, a few diced onions, and a few bacon bits (The picture showed bacon/burger sticking out of the bread. 25% of the bites were just plain dry bread.🚫🚫 Should just be sold as a high carb option. It was littoral a hotdogs down a hallway as there was 10x more bread than meat/toppings.
I asked for light ice as the Styrofoam cup will keep the dink cold for how long I'll have it, still had the cup half full of ice. I'd bet the ice costs more than the soft drink....🚫🚫
My sons chicken sandwich had 4 pickle chips also when ordered and paid for extra pickles. Just pathetic
Do they take off $$ for no lettuce? Nope, another Chic place does that is more expensive but you get what you pay for.
We ordered 1 fry and 1 tot, they gave us 2 tots. Luckily I checked the bag and had it corrected. The receipt does say both tots, but I ordered fries for my son.
No other cars ahead or behind me, and it took quite a bit for our food. They could have given us our drinks while we waited rather than handing both drinks and a bag of food all together. 🤷🏼♂️
For $27+ of food for 2 people, it should be decent.
Most other fast food wouldn't charge $0.49 for extra pickles, so you got an extra $1+ out of me for nothing... 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️

Read moreI have not been to Sonic in a long time. My wife and I were next door getting some new tires and decided to get some beverages. The shake was just okay my wife and I have had much better. I ordered chicken fingers with tater tots and found them to be good but not very good. The tots we're small and the flavor was so so. The sauce provided which is a Sonic Drive-In sauce individually packaged was not good at all. The consistency and flavor was definitely poor. All in all for a quick stop and bite to eat we found what we ordered to be just okay. The novelty of someone roller skating to your car is not a big deal to me. We walked up and realize that there was nowhere to sit inside, that you had to order from a walk up order station and then someone brings your food out to an out-door table. We had no problem was sitting outside but it was hot and inside air conditioning would have been nice. While I get that they expect that you'll sit in your car in your own air conditioning you would have to have your car running for that. And if it's cold outside same problem you have to have your car running to keep it warm or you'd have no place inside. Worth giving a try sometime in the future but not excited about the food overall when there's so many other great places...
