Wagon Depot — Attraction in Nauvoo

In August 2025, we visited the Wagon Depot in Nauvoo, Illinois. We were in Nauvoo to see the Nauvoo Pageant, a theatrical performance that starts at 8:30 pm for a 3 week run during the Summer. Like all of the other exhibits in Nauvoo, the Wagon Depot does not cost anything, and the Wagon Depot does not run on Sundays. Like a ride through time and history without a Delorean or Flux Capacitor, the Wagon Tour of Nauvoo is a great way to see and learn about the history of the Mormon settlement. Stop by the visitors center to get a ticket, they are free and can be gone quickly during the busy season.
