Mae-Lynne Maker Studio — Attraction in Nelsonville

A huge, gigantic, awesome and appreciative shout out to Carol and Vicky Mae-Lynne Makers in Nelsonville, Ohio.

I bought my material from them and proceeded to make my throw quilt. I ran into a few hurdles of which were operator errors and I was so mad at myself. They were so generous and kept assuring me that the infractions could be fixed. (of course, I had already yelled at myself for being so dumb). They spent a lot of time with me to ensure that we could fix and square the quilt. I’m am sooooooo thankful for their expertise, their patience, customer service and their sense of humor as we navigated the solution.

Owner on/site most days. Special orders are always welcome if you don’t see what you need. Monthly specials available with free coupon book that is available at the beginning of each new year. Very friendly!

Lots of artsy shops in the walkable downtown area along with several local dining options pizza, sandwich and soup, burgers and fries, and even a gluten free bakery.... not to mention a “white tablecloth / music provided” venue w/ great food and great hospitality, and to top it if very unpretentious!!!

Shop Nelsonville for fun and...

Stopped in to look at sewing machine to replace my 10 yr old nonfunctional Singer. Received excellent service from shop owner. She listened to my preferences. Showed me a few options. She was excited about a model they had just received and demonstrated several features. Went home with that particular machine today. I usually test drive many options before purchase but...Looking forward to many years of sewing...
