Jungle Jam Party and Play — Attraction in New Braunfels

I am deeply disappointed with the experience I had at Jungle Gym in New Braunfels. My daughter booked a party for my granddaughter's second birthday in the spring, and they took my deposit without any issues. However, when I showed up today for the party, they claimed my name was not on the schedule and that I was not booked for the day.

People usually book venues and reserve things ahead of time because we have lives and want the day to go smoothly, so we prepare and reserve in advance. However, be careful because Jungle Gym will take your money and not reserve your room, leaving you standing there looking like an idiot with all the birthday supplies.

This was incredibly embarrassing and frustrating, especially since I had invited family from out of town to join us. We arrived with all the decorations and were ready to celebrate, only to be told that there was no booking in our name.

The staff's response was completely unprofessional and disorganized. They were rude when we expressed our concerns and offered no solutions or apologies. I can't help but wonder if we were treated this way because of our last name or if this is just how they operate. Manager or Owner never showed up to refund. We were not taken care of after their careless mistake.

I will never be returning to Jungle Gym, and I want everyone in New Braunfels and the surrounding areas to be aware of my experience. Please double-check your bookings and be cautious, as they may take your money and not honor your reservation. Shame on them for ruining what should have been a special day for our family.

This party might not have meant crap to Jungle Gym, but it was planned and very special for us.

Today was the second time I have been to Jungle Jam with my kids. Ages 18mo, 3 and 5. It wasn't great the first time, but we figured we'd try it again...rainy day and only so many indoor options. Today was definitely the last time.

For starters, the two ladies behind the counter couldn't have been less pleasant. No greeting, no smiles, just told you how much it was and walked away. The bathrooms smelled horrible and there was standing water in the ladies room. Cleanliness is definitely not their thing.

One of the employees had her twin daughters there. They were going absolutely nuts terrorizing everyone. They were pushing, hitting, screaming and calling kids names. I was helping my kids on the top of the maze part and they were up there telling kids to shut up and calling them stupid. They told one little girl that she was ugly and couldn't play. They kept taking toys from other kids, pulling things across the floor, knocking kids over and the employees did absolutely nothing. There were two other girls that were playing with them - one older one younger. The older was at least 6 or 7 and was taking toys away from the babies. Again...both employees saw their behavior and did absolutely nothing. In fact, one kid tried standing up to them and one of the employees told the poor kid they needed to be nice and share.

Hard for the kids to have a good/safe time when the employees are letting their kids run around like absolute maniacs.

I had planned my sons first birthday since January here and loved the location and the cleanliness, I had called several times to get more and more information. One question I asked was if once my party was over could my guests stay for an additional time, the answer was yes that I would just have to move to the other area that wasn’t for a private party. Unfortunately today my guests felt uncomfortable from how much the staff implicated that my guests couldn’t even sit in empty tables, there was an older lady with white hair who told us we needed to leave because it wasn’t fair for paying customers, which doesn’t make any sense to me because i to am a paying customer who is paying for all my guests who needed to be respected. The staff today was extremely poor and unprofessional. Two younger girls showed so much expressions on how frustrated they were that my party decided to move over and take two tables.
