New Hope Church — Attraction in New Hope

Going through a rough divorce and since the process started only one pastor came to my house and that was in the very beginning of separating. Nine months later, still an official member, no word from any of the pastors on how I’m doing or how my kids are holding up. I reached out multiple times via email and phone expressing my interest to speak with a pastor about this divorce and not a peep.

A pastor has not reached out to me as was stated in the reply. An “elder” reached out to me who I have no experience with. Since this is such a sensitive matter, no I don’t want to speak with someone I don’t know. You can try as hard as you want to contribute and plug in. I love New Hope Church. I'm thankful to God for this place. They are warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a safe place to worship without fear of ridicule, this is your church. I've been blessed beyond belief since coming here. Pastor Matthew St. John and his assistant pastors are fantastic and anointed. The worship team are amazing as well. Nice, big church but you can tell that it has seen better days, especially when compared to other large churches in the area like Living Word.

I did like the service we attended, very nice greeters and the woman who sang had a beautiful voice and you could tell she was into it.

Wasn't sold on the Pastor. Telling the congregation to judge others if they aren't the same religion as you seems like a job for God, not me. I disagree completely and feel that the world would be a better place if we "Live...
