I started my journey with St. Cloud State in 2008 working as a Senior QC Manager at Teva Pharma in MN. My company was moving its production to Utah in 2011 and I wanted to stay and work in Minneapolis for family reasons. Working full time, I managed to complete my MS RAS in Medical devices and got a position soon after at Baxter Surgical division as a Quality Scientist, thus building on my academic foundation laid by SCS for medical devices. I progressed on to becoming a Quality and Regulatory Manager at Promed and now I work the Director of Quality and Regulatory remotely from Tampa, Fl after working for big companies like Covidien ( now part of Medtronic) and small companies such as WELLY Health in the past 14 years. I have also been serving as an adjunct faculty teaching MTQ classes since 2011. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to get my MS RAS at SCS and sincerely appreciate the opportunity to be giving back to this day to SCS Med Tech Program as an adjunct instructor.
I recommend this program ( MS RAS, ACR or MTQ) to students and working professionals who want to dive more and make an impact in the medical device sector irrespective of where they are located. You can do these as F/ T students or as a working professionals to enhance your career through P/ T MS commitment as several hybrid and remote sessions are currently available through St. Cloud Stare Med Tech Program. SCS has passionate instructors and committed students! So become part of this scientific community that’s...
