Unbelievable service. I usually don't care to write reviews because I believe good service should be expected from local businesses, but after my latest dealing with Batteries Plus I just have to let others know what I experienced. About two weeks ago I dropped my Iphone 6s plus and completely shattered the screen. The phone functioned perfectly even with the cracks, and in the end I decided it made much more sense just to replace the screen rather than purchase a new Iphone. After doing a quick google search, I discovered that this location offered Iphone repair services. Having used them for two car batteries, key fob battery replacement, and numerous watch battery replacements I decided to go with their screen replacement service. While not cheap, $180.00, I trusted this local business to do right by me and they did by offering me a 10% discount coupon even though I was unaware of the promotion. That was nice of them to do and they certainly didn't have to...just treating the customer right. I dropped my phone off on Saturday, Jan 14th. After two hours, I received notification that my phone was done. I picked up the phone and all was well for about an hour. I noticed that I wasn't receiving messages or calls, which is strange. Upon closer inspection my phone was displaying a message "no sim card". I swung by the store and they immediately took the time to inspect, reseat the sim card, and got it working again. Saturday night the screen began flickering and eventually the back light went out completely. At this point, the phone was actually in much worse shape than when I dropped it off, due to the fact the it was nonfunctional. Here's where batteries plus showed they stand behind their services and put the customer first. When I went back on Sunday, the tech showed genuine concern and didn't show any skepticism etc. he simply took the phone back and told me they'd look into it. Within two hours, I received an email telling me that they had replaced the screen again, for free, but that the issue persisted. I was told, that if it was ok with me, they would keep the phone over night and speak with management in the AM. So, today I get a call at my company around noon letting me know the phone was fully functional and all ready to go. I sent my assistant to pick it up and, as promised, the phone was back in perfect working order. I do not know what they did to make it work, but I really feel they did right by me. Truly, it would have been very easy for them to say "well sir, perhaps you damaged the main board or some other component when you dropped your phone" and taken the stance that this issue was unrelated to the screen repair. I couldn't prove otherwise, after all. They did not do this, instead, they just did whatever they had to to take care of the customer and make sure I was satisfied. I know it is a long review, but thanks for reading, and I encourage any and all persons with battery or phone issues to use this location. I will certainly be a customer for life after this experience.

Update 06.16.2017
My Phone has begun to experience the exact same symptoms that caused me to bring it in for a screen replacement. The screen flickers, the top right portion on the screen is always dark, and a few time through the day the screen goes completely black. So I guess when it finally got sorted out it did operate correctly for a little while, but now the issues are just as bad as before. I suppose I can just live continually hard resetting my phone throughout the day, but that's no way to live in this fast paced world:) I just don't remember...did this repair come with a 1 year warranty? Please let me know, folk! Thanks so...

I knew I could get a whole kit on Amazon for $15.99 (battery included) but I didn't want to risk damaging anything by trying to fix it myself, so I was willing to pay the extra $50 for a pro to do it. Plus, they cleans out my charging port, removing the link, which fixed the charging problem and saved me the cost of needing to pay to replace that. This was all done for free. So far so good, right? So why the 1 star review? Well, it went all downhill from there.
When I come to pick up the phone the guy says he cut the cable. This prevents me from turning the ringer up/down and on/off. They said the part would not be coming in until Wednesday but they would fix it for free because it was under warranty. So I have to wait 2 day with a broken phone. Then I call twice on Wednesday but the part doesn't arrive until the afternoon. Ok, so the part arrives and I drop off my phone. They say it will take 1 hour to 1.5 hours. I tell them I will be back in an hour and would like it done by then. He says he will do his best. So I leave and run some errands and get back in a little over an hour. He says he is not done and still needs another half hour. All the parts were removed so he said it wouldn't take long. I leave and come back in 1 hour and ITS STILL NOT DONE. It's a 15 minute drive each way and this means I have to take 3 trips back and forth just to have a mistake fixed. I asked for any in-store credits at least 2-3 times and each time I was denied.
So they gave me a loaner phone for the night and I left. Then I came back the next day and thankfully the phone was fixed. They still offered me no in-store credit or a refund on the $59.99 battery or anything to offset all my wasted time, drives, and so forth.
But what really made me mad is when I asked for the tech guy (I don't know his name but he is really fat so you will know him if you see him. I'll just call him "the fat guy") to apologize for telling me it would be done in 30 minutes and it never got done that whole day, he made excuses. He said it got busy. I don't deny that but still, he shouldn't have made a false claim (e.g. 30 minutes) if there were contingencies. At that point, it got into a yelling match and the fat guy said "Go ahead and write a 1 star review. Who cares! I'm really scared. Not!" And that is how it was left.

Read moreI was sold an oddyseey red top battery just under 4 years ago. I went in last night to have it checked out as when starting my truck you can CLEARLY hear the solenoid clicking like the battery was weak. You could also see the lights dim and flicker while starting it. They can't find a record of a red top being sold to me but they can find a "X2" There was a deal going on when I bought the battery and they didn't have any x2's in stock so they sold me the red top at the x2 price. Little did I know they rang up an x2 instead of doing the correct thing of ringing up the red top and adjusting the price. Since the red to isn't "showing" on my account they won't warranty it. Thanks to someone not doing their job correctly I have to suffer and buy a new $500+ battery when it should have been warrantied. This company needs to make sure their employees are doing their job correctly so the costumers do not get...
