The food is the food because, let's be real, I don't think it's that difficult to prepare. My order was correct, but let me tell you about my experience here at 9pm on a Saturday.
I went in to order to-go (my driver's side window doesn't cooperate) and, in waiting 15-20+ minutes for my single combo order, observed the following:
•What appeared to be a very lazy crew. •Customer service and interaction was bare minimum. One customer had a large order to-go, but it was brought to him for dine-in. He let them know he needed it to-go, and the worker begrudgingly packaged everything up, throwing things in boxes here and there, and when he handed the customer the food the second time, he didn't bother muster a word. •There was a pile of garbage swept up on the floor in the kitchen. I don't mean your typical pile, but a LARGE pile that appeared to have formed due to laziness. It appeared they just drop things, and leave them or throw them there on purpose. •I also observed the worker making my food take very little care with it. My quesarito was laid on the bare work counter rather than straight into packaging. •The nozzle for the nacho cheese (in the work area) was congealed looking from the inside. It was lying out while the worker was adding more to the basin. •Everything comes from bags - the beef, the lettuce, the cheese... all of it. Not that I expected any different, but just an FYI.
Overall, food was decent. Wait, service and...
Read moreMixed feelings on this location. I ordered via the app to try it out. McDonalds doesn't start your order until you get there. Taco Bell makes it right away and since they are really fast, my order was ready within 5 mins and I had barely left for the 10 min drive to get there. "See you at the pickup counter".
Get there and the inside is under construction. There's an unhelpful painter who is "NOT an employee" in there and a long drivethrough line. My order is getting cold. Thankfully, a friendly employee heard me through the plastic and asks my name and brings me my order sans the drink that was supposed to come with my order but at that point I said "screw it". Plus, I didn't indicate what drink I wanted through the app because they probably give you a cup at the pickup counter to dispense your own choice of drink from the fountain.
Food was cold when I got home. The boys still ate it but it just wasn't very good.
Next time, I will only use the app when I am out and about near a Taco Bell that I know is not remodeling their dining area and pickup counter. As for this location, it has always been hit or miss but I will avoid it while they're remodeling.
4/29/2020 Ordered a Party Pack, a Cheesy Gordita Crunch, 2 Cheesy Rollups, and a Mini Chicken Quesadilla. Asked the drivethrough gal, "Is this everything?" She said "Yes". Got home, we only got the Party Pack. No other items were in the box. Pretty...
Read moreI put in an order online for this location, came to the location after receiving a confirmation text that my meal was ready, asked the cashier if my food was ready to be picked up and he said it would be ready in a few minutes. I waited 10 minutes and then asked again and got he same response, 10 minutes later I asked again and was ignored, 10 minutes after that I asked him again and he went to the back to get someone else who checked and let me know that they never received my order in the first place. Showed them my receipt over email and showed that they had already charged my credit card for the purchase and was told "there is nothing that we can do". They said that at the end of the night if the order was not marked as completed then the charge would not go through. Fast forward to today, a few days later, and I am having to jump through hoops with my bank to get my money back because the charge DID go through for the food that I never even received. My bank asked me to contact Taco Bell's number on my statement, which I did, and after explaining to the person on the phone what my issue is she hung up on me. I have never had another issue with a Taco Bell location but I will never step foot in...
