Bela jewelry store is just the best jewelers to deal with in the New Milford area and beyond. I’ve had terrible experiences at Robertsons and Morton’s in town. They take forever and don’t seem to understand what it is to be a good salesperson- and they are ridiculously expensive. So happy I found Peter at Bela’s. He could not have been more professional and friendly. He fixed my necklace in a few minutes. No nonsense about sending it out to be repaired to be picked up days later. And the price was right! Don't know about buying..... Do not bring them any scrap to sell unless you know exactly how much it's worth... I brought 18k scrap once he told me it was fake and if he could throw it out, every other place I brought pieces of it for years paid me on 18k.... They will pay you for scrap on jewelry knowing that they are going to resell it for thousands... They will interfere with your sales at other Jeweler so you might not get a good price on your scrap... I found this shop after a bad experience at another jeweler in town. I have since return multiple times to this shop to have some piece fixed and resized and I will no longer go anywhere else. The gentleman that always is there to help me is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and overall makes you feel welcome and take care of.
