Hmmm let me think, where should I start? Oh I know! Let me start by saying how the staff SUCKS! Very passive aggressive, harassed my friend who is a very shy, Huge egos, with little knowledge of company policy. And they do NOT know how to keep the place well kept. Holes in the walls, weird stains on the equipment, one of the machines i used was broken. But wait I have more for you potential customers.
besides that I noticed that there was an extra charge to my bank account. Which had no explanation behind said charge. I took my bank statements, went in person, PRESENTED MY BANK STATEMENTS TOO THE INCOMPETENT STAFF, and they had the audacity to say they don't see any extra charges on my account. the gaslighting from a business like this is appalling! But im not dumb! That was the exact reason for my cancelation. They were siphoning money out of my account.
So the next day I proceeded to go IN PERSON to attempt to cancel my account but was told that i need to send an email to their support team. Which is exactly what I did, following the instructions of the staff. Basically what I got from their support team was that I need to pay off a handful of past due payments, as I changed my bank account. That was fine.
The next day, I called up there to rectify it so I can proceed with my cancelation. I payed 52 dollars and some change in late fees. The lady I was on the phone with went through the cancelation process with me on the phone after taking my information.
according to newtown cancelations can't be held over the phone.
Okay so why did one of the managers that i was on the phone with held my cancelation process over the phone instead of informing me it needed to be done in person or via email? Purposefully withholding information from me. That's great business ethics.
I payed off my debt, she says that after a 30 day trial my account will be canceled. WHAT SHE DIDNT MENTION was that I would be charged for those 30 days. 10.98 i was charged for 30 days
According to newtown's club 24 management, the payment are bi-weekly. So that should've been the same policy for the new milford location they said.
So let's do some math! Shall we? If the payments are bi-weekly and one month is generally 4 and a half weeks, THEN THERE SHOULDVE BEEN AT LEAST A MINIMUM OF TWO PAYMENTS FOR THAT 30 DAYS!!!! BUT 6 PAYMENTS? oh you robbed me, but best belive I'm getting my money back AND THEN SOME after the serious claim I made with my bank and the police report I made against this business.
so after I payed for the 30 days GO FIGURE the cancelation did not go through. So what exactly were those payments for? You guys really tried it thinking I wouldn't notice. And mind you this is after the manger told me that after the 30 days I will no longer be a member.
Yesterday, while I was working for my hard earned money that they so desperately want and will not get! Their firm had the audacity to send me an email saying I owed them 172 dollars and some change?!?!?!?!
Excuse me? You're not getting that money! Not sorry, matter of fact at this point this establishment owes me money. I am owed a reimbursement for the fact you couldn't fall through with your part of the agreement of canceling my account after you said I would no longer be a member AFTER I payed for the 30 days before the cancelation was complete.
Which i did. I followed your policies, even though you guys have been very dishonest and withheld information and guidelines from me. And I KNOW this to be true because the management in newtown under the same company was very honest and direct, even admitted to me that this location (new milford) has the worst reputation. Hmm isn't that funny, you guys are representing a brand and do a poor job doing just that.
I write this review for anybody who wants to join. This is my warning to you, please whatever you do. Dont get yourself into this crock of a gym. The positive reviews are from people that were promised discounts and extra benefits. Isn't that so pathetic? A bunch of scamers! You will be dealt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started at Club 24 June 2021 and lasted until July 2022 when I decided I needed a change. Pros: You can't beat the price. I paid the top tier rate so that I could bring a guest whenever I wanted. Just note if you do bring a guest the staff at the desk will constantly ask the guest to join. I realize theyāre just doing their job. The gym is big and there should be enough equipment for everyone. Very convenient hours.
Cons: For months the women's toilets would leak all over the floor. It would be cleaned up with a mop however not once when I was there did I see the staff clean up the leak with disinfectant. So, we would be in the bathroom then walking all over the gym with our toilet water sneakers. Before I finally decided to leave, 2 of the 3 women's stalls had "out of order" signs on them for over 2 months. Several times I really needed to use the bathroom and the only stall was being used. Women are NOT men. We need our stalls. Bathroom area is really sad and depressing. Plus if a man accidentally walks in,(I've seen it happen) it's wide open and there is no privacy for a woman that might be changing. There is one tiny closet like room that is lacking a mirror to change in. This is not a gym one would want to get ready for work in after a workout. In no way does it cater to women. The push button on the water fountain was broken and was never fixed. A sloppy, hand written sign notified you it was broken. There were only 2 upright bikes and both of them had seats that were partially peeled away. This was a problem because the only thing I used at the gym was the upright bike. Although nice, the gym is largely run by teenagers. Several times when I went in after work the music was so loud and so foul I had to complain. No one wants to hear the F-bomb 17 times or hear grotesque songs about licking body parts. I'm not even joking here. There were pre-teens and elderly in the gym and this is the music that was blaring from the speakers. When the Zumba class would start, their music would be fighting for space with the gym's music. I wear noise cancelling headphones and I could still clearly hear both.
At the time when I needed an affordable gym it fit the bill. However, now that I'm a bonified exerciser, I decided to go elsewhere and pay a little bit more to a gym that values women and knows the little...

Originally, I had written a very good review for this gym. Unfortunately their business model is horrible. My membership stated that I could bring a guest for free everyday. My friend was HARASSED by the front desk every single time I brought her. They held us there for 20 minutes at one point, trying to āconvinceā her to get a membership for herself. We kindly declined it every time, MULTIPLE TIMES because I had a free guest pass with my card. I understand that the front desk probably runs on commission or something, but ONE no should be all that is needed. I was disgusted by this gym after that. My friend no longer wanted to go and at that point I didnāt want them to have my membership either. Go to Iron Factory.

If you had read my current review properly, youād understand that I had originally written a good review, until the described events took place. My friend was harassed, no if and or buts.
