This Saturday, October the 18th, was a fine day for YLC Kicks and YLC RECreate to be hosting a community soccer clinic at NORDC’s A.L. Davis park. The neighborhood is not all safe. Every time there's a big event that occurs in that Park there is always trouble that follows. If you decide to visit that Park on any given day be careful of your surroundings. Myself I will never attend a function that occurs in that Park on no day at all. Exciting to know that when you visit uptown on a sunday this the spot where it goes down. Historic for the meeting ground of the Mardi gras indians. This park is a uptown gem.
