Chief Mobile — Local services in New Orleans

This is MY experience. I came to this place in September. I bought 2 Samsung Galaxy 8 pulses. One had a bad battery with a good screen. The other had a small burn and little crack on the screen and a good battery. I asked if they can switch my good screen phone to the good battery phone. They said yes come back in 3 hours. I came back in 3 hours and the same guy gave me someone else's phone. I told him it wasn't mine and he found my phone via my ticket. He asked me what I needed done and I had to explain to him again what I wanted. He told mr give him a couple of minutes. After about 10 it 15 minutes he gave me back my phone with rubber bands around the screen and advised me not to remove the rubber bands I believe for an hour. I just left the rubber bands on until the next morning. About two weeks later my phone didn't ring anymore. Only vibrate. No speakerphone. Can't play media without using headphones because there is no sound. Notifications sometimes vibrate but never play a ringtone. Sometimes I have to turn the phone on and off and notice voicemail messages that were not there. Should have just kept the phone with the good...

DON'T GO IN THERE!!! I never did this before but feel like i have to write something this time! They charge less than the competitors, and I asked them why, and they told me it was to be able to beat the competition. I thought: ok. Once they replaced my screen, days later I realized that the face ID wasn't working anymore. After calling other shops, they explained to me that there 2 ways to replace a screen. one involves a but more work than the other, and if they do it correctly, you won't lose the face ID.
