Not sure if i came on the wrong day or the technician was not having a great day but the experience was horrible. Called specifically for Russian manicure & pedicure because that’s what they advertise on on Google & read they had positive reviews. I can admit I was a 15 minute late, so this may have aided in the poor service I received. Upon arrival, I was checked in & confirmed the services I was receiving then waited for my technician. She seemed to be friendly, so I was excited because I haven’t had time to self care & anticipated a nice wind down. As she prepared for the pedicure, I’d noticed there was no place to soak the feet, instead, a ceramic bowl & pitcher lol.The place is built inside of a store or old building, so I assume this is why, but super odd especially given the price they charge for their services. The tech proceed with the service & we had brief conversation about how I looked the location up & specifically came for the Russian mani/pedi. As the tech is working on my feet, i noticed she was finishing quicker than expected. I’ve been getting these type of services for years & have driven hours for techs who specialize in this service so I know what to expect. This was not it. I proceeded to stop her before she polished to express concern. Keep in mind that I’d only been there no longer than 20-30 minutes & that included waiting for her to get me.She told me that she was done & didn’t think I needed the Russian mani/pedi because that’s for people with messed up nails. No true but okay & I’m sure any sales people are confused as to why not upsell. After that, I wasn’t confident that this tech would be able to provide me the level or service or end product I was looking for so I’d decided to end the service. Keep in mind that my feet weren’t polished or anything. I went to the front desk to check out & request a price adjustment because I initially paid a deposit for both services & only received one if you can call it that. I assume it was the manager came over to speak with me & kinda apologized but basically said unfortunately all the technicians are not trained to do those services & they are working getting everyone trained. Blew my mind… so that means I that I was booked with a person who didn’t know what they were doing lol. Paid a deposit & all lol. She’d promised to refund me for the service I didn’t receive & that’s it, so I paid full price for someone to put my feet in a bowl, pour water on them, & cut my toenails. The refund actually was not done that day, so I had to call back several times to rectify. This was a sad & overpriced experience & i hope I can save someone the trouble (you also have to pay to park or park on the street, so it’s not in a convenient location). Def not worth the headache or waste of time
Since, I have received the refund for the services I did not receive & someone did reach out to rectify the situation via message. I still stand on my initial review given that the situation could’ve been handled prior to me leaving, especially given that it was a booking issue on your end. Which I’m sure could’ve been seen by the person who came to speak to me about the service.There was barely an apology or explanation as your response to my review. In addition , I was still charged full price for a service with an untrained technician due to a “booking issue” & expressing how unhappy I was in person. Thank you for requesting me to come back, but it does come off as performative because none of these offers or explanations were provided until after my review. Read moreWOW! Just wow! This place was EVERYTHING I was hoping for. I have searched high and low all the way from the westbank, uptown, downtown, the north shore and everywhere in between. Yesterday I found my Place! It was the right amount of CLASSY, BOUGIE RATCHETT ( in the BEST way possible) this place is was so awesome!! All of the workers seemed so be so happy in thier environment! That is a HUGE plus for me as I am a service provider myself I notice small details in salons and that’s one for me. They genuinely seemed happy to be there and Morgan seems to be a GREAT boss! That’s awesome too! I didn’t even get to my tech or my service but wow! JAH was her name and nails were her game! She took the time to talk with me and educate me on the products she used to achieve the look I desired . That was so important as I didn’t know what to ask for and miscommunication leads to a bad experience .. she educated me and took her time. I appreciate that. This was so much more than a manicure. This was an experience! 10 out of 10!!

Read moreOver mardi gras, I saw they had a cute manicure special going on, and messaged to book for their "design of the week" which was an evil eye design I loved. Their soonest apt was about a week and a half away, it was very clear I wanted that design, at time of booking- I paid a deposit.
When I showed up, that design was no longer on special, so instead of 55$, they wanted 120!! They were super weird about the whole thing, going back and forth about whether they could deliver what they promised.
I said ok I will cancel, because no way am I spending more than double. They said ok -what if we will do it foryou just this once. Of course, no problem- I just want the service I booked for?
