Mardi Gras Spot - Retail Store — Attraction in New Orleans

This is my first time visiting this location with my granddaughter and it was SOOO much fun. The staff was excellent and very welcoming. Literally every where we turned there was a person greeting us, asking if help was needed or just having small talk. It literally made us not want to spend money anywhere else. They are like one big family.

From Tiffany Shorts When I first walked in a gentleman handed us a basket and welcomed our business.

Mrs. Roberta was an absolute jewel. I was very impressed with how she maneuvers with her staff. You literally could not tell who was the boss because she was helping as well. I past an aisle and noticed some garland in a box, Mrs. Roberta passed and noticed it as well and begin placing it on the shelf.

Another observation, a young lady was restocking shelves and noticed Mrs. Roberta working and she said "Mrs. Roberta I can do it" Then she mumbled to herself as I was in the aisle, there is no reason she should be working if staff is still here, she can tend to other affairs. I literally smiled to myself and almost wanted to "WORK HERE MYSELF" (LOL).

This atmosphere is surely conducive for happy shopping and spending.

Mr. Kenneth is also a very kind hearted individual. I left the store without a product and Mrs. Roberta was helping me and became busy. Mr. Kenneth did not want me waiting, and helped me by finding the items. LORD JESUS, teamwork at it's best.

I will be returning every MARDI GRAS!!!! MY NEW FAMILY!!!!

Mrs. Francis also helped me with a situation and was able to resolve it as she overheard my concern and immediately worked until it was resolved.

I am relatively new to the area and was so blown away by this store! I've never been to a Mardi Gras store before. I loved it. I came looking for Mardi Gras lights to put across my porch and I found exactly what I needed. There were tons of different options! I had a time looking around at all the merchandise. Prices seem reasonable to me, and the staff here is great. A nice young man helped me find the lights, and showed me the glass bead aisle (his favorite) because I told him I'd never been there before. Highly disappointed I place a large order with a lot of clothing; they confirmed order received, withdrew the money from my account and then they send me a shipping notification that clearly doesn’t have everything and when I inquired I then get an email canceling the rest of the order and giving me the typical 2-5 days to credit my account. 1. I feel that it is unacceptable to charge someone when you don’t have the items2. to not notify someone that you don’t have the items 3. When I called to speak to someone no one answered.
