Antiques Plus — Attraction in New Ulm

Wish I could give negative stars. Extremely rude. Walked in at 2:19 knowing they close at 2:30 but just wanted to check it out. Lady says “I’m closing at 2:30” I say “ok”. I look around for about 60 seconds and she yells across the store “I said I’m closing!”. I ask if she wanted me to leave then, and ask to make sure she said 2:30. Neat little antiques store in New Ulm. Had a lot of interesting things and for pretty good prices, too. The eyecatcher was the display of hand-painted bird feathers near the front of the store, which were decorated by someone local and selling for about $20 a piece--not bad for unique folk art like this! I scored a 70-year-old stuffed souvenir kangaroo from Australia--made from real kangaroo hair--for only $7. Would...

Very nice place, and interesting things. It's not too wide, and there are a lot of objects, so you might have to squeeze through in some parts. I found some wonderful and pretty things, all at reasonable prices. The tea and cutlery sets are beautiful, as well as the trinket boxes.

The woman working there was helpful and wanted to make sure I found everything I needed!
