The Coffee Keller — Restaurant in New Ulm

The Coffee Keller is THE place to get coffee in town. If you don't like coffee, they have Lotus energy that they use to craft some fruity energy beverages. They create their drinks and specials on their own, without taking ideas from places like Caribou or Starbucks. When you shop local, the business stays local so if you are debating between Caribou and The Coffee Keller, go to the Keller. Their coffee is better than Caribou and the money stays local. The have their year round drinks, but the seasonal and monthly specials are definitely worth a try. They typically have 3 espresso/coffee specials and another with the Lotus that rotate each month. They have a cooler and bakery box that has goodies in them (especially the treats from Becky Bakes). Their Facebook has very creative and eye catching posts which makes it hard to resist stopping in. The space is a little small which makes it hard to sit down or stay out of the way, but it is very cozy.

UPDATE: Their new location is so bright, open, and welcoming. It isn't down the stairs anymore so it is more accessible now too. They also extended their regular menu and they switched from monthly to seasonal drinks so if you really liked a drink, it is around for...

This place is a MUST STOP if you are ever in New Ulm. They have THEE BEST coffee. No matter what type of coffee you drink, you can't go wrong with its flavor and smoothness. My husband, who has never had a coffee in his life, even likes going as many other options such as smoothies and dirty pops.
