Never ever disappointed when I go to the terminal market.

There are produce and meat wholesalers that operate throughout the year. You will be hard pressed to find cheaper prices even in the BJ's next door. There are also plant nurseries that double as seasonal decoration wholesalers.

For Easter, lilies and garden plants are the main draw. Garden plants continue to dominate the summer. If you happen to find yourself here on a summer day you may just find your local landscaper stocking up.

As fall begins, pumpkins, scarecrows and other spooky decorations move in. No place sells either cheaper. This year I purchased two pumpkins that weighed in excess of 30 lbs each for under 20 dollars at A. Visconti's.

Christmas is by far the best of all seasons to make a visit. Not only are the nurseries stocked with trees but some of the grocers stock them as well. In effect it turns the terminal into a massive Christmas tree lot. The smell almost takes you the mountains and the experience is uniquely New York.

While getting your tree you can also step into many of the nursery shops and get everything you need to trim your tree and decorate the rest of your home. From hand painted pinecones to those illuminated plastic figurines that are ubiquitous in outdoor displays over in Bensonhurst.

So many fond memories of this place and compliments received from goods I've bought here. A definite must visit if you love Christmas and live...

Christmas tree 5feet and up are $80+ this year all over NYC. I google where to buy an affordable Christmas tree and was directed to Terminal Market. I could have not made a better choice. Trees were healthier and much more affordable. They have a variety of beautiful Christmas decorations as well. We ended up spending double of what we spent on the tree on beautiful decorations for our tree. It was worth the trip. For the price of a healthy 7feet+ tree elsewhere, we got the most amazing Christmas tree at home this year. The three was only $50! And we did invest $115 on decorations. But look how amazing it’s. Definitely the most beautiful tree I ever built in my life. They have a few trees decorated inside so you can borrow some idea. I’m sure that this will always be my to go place for every Christmas from now on. Plus the service is amazing! Caring, helpful...

Section 66-3.2 Face-Coverings

(a)  Any person who is over age two and able to medically tolerate a face-covering shall be required to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or face-covering when in a public place and unable to maintain, or when not maintaining, social distance.

No mask required outside of enclosed spaces where 6 feet is possible

If 6 feet cannot be possible a mask is required for medically fit individuals

Also would not accept medical exemption so if you have a medical condition such as asma copd emphysema acid reflux don't come here

Any one required and able to wear a mask and refuse to could face $500-$1000 fine authorized by New York state Governor...
