Brooklyn Video Games — Attraction in New York

I'm very disappointed at this store because i went there on Wednesday Feb 21st to trade some stuff that i had, and i bought a PSP for my nephew and then the two days he been using it start to freeze during game play and the battery (which is not the original is supposed to come on the system) drain fast within an hour of game play. i called the store and they told me there nothing they can't do about it because the policy is on the receipt and they don't accept returns, i told them is they can replace it for a different system like a game boy and they said they can't do that that it has to be the same item and that doesn't even have two weeks that i bought it.

The PSP charger they also give me has exposed copper wires and my nephew or anyone can get an electrical shock if he inadvertently touches

This is a buy at your own risk but even if the system have some technical issues like freezes when you play or the battery is not the original even if you don't inspect they have to tell you before you buy, not just wait until you pay for it and leave the store and then notice that when you don't have any options to return it or exchange it for something else.

Never buying from them again. Bought a 3ds xl for 180 and they wouldn’t let me look at it. Once I left the store I understood why. They sold me broken 3ds xl when I brought it to their attention they said they didn’t sell it to me. I will never go to either location ever.

And no I have everything in message u guys said u would let me know when to come in for new sd card. U guys only told me that it had scratches on it not that the joystick was broken. I waited for a response. Only thing my son did was take sd card out bc it was modded which I ended fixing myself. When I bought the 3ds I was so excited and should have been priced 50 dollars for it bc nobody will buy it from me or even for trades. I was ok with it bc I really wanted to have something from my childhood but now can’t even play anything on it. I don’t even know why u guys responding to my messages when I have everything. Even the screenshot shot of the 3ds xl I was supposed to be getting which was deleted from ur instagram account. But it’s ok u won’t ever expect me to show up to either store. In the heart of Brooklyn, this place is a hidden gem. A great selection of new and retro games. Every system and game you could think of, they have it. The owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The selection of N64 games brought me back to my younger years. That wholesome good feeling. Thanks so much!!!

Update: 07/12/19 The owner has outdone himself once again. Such a gentleman and a scholar. Always providing great care in his products and customers. I recently purchased a model 2 SNES, and copy of Maximum Carnage, and a copy of Resident Evil 2 for the N64. He was gracious enough to hold them for me, and they were fresh!!!!
