Scammed twice in one purchase. And then a thrid... Purchased a two pack to replace my car hid headlights after 1 side went out. Well they only sent me one. I installed the one they sent me thinking they'd just send me the other one just in case I lost the other headlight while driving. Reaching out to customer support was no help. They blamed it on Walmart and said they would not refund me unless I returned the headlight bulb (which is now in the car and one headlight looks way off since I upgraded the bulbs). Called Walmart and luckily the Walmart people helped me out and tried to send me the other missing one but there was only one problem. The vendor bulbs america removed that style bulb and Walmart couldn't even send it to me. Luckily Walmart stepped in and refunded me half my money... which was beeing scammed once. Number two is the fact I paid for priority shipping and they took my shipping money and sent it standard. So now I try and have to buy one more bulb and I go run a Google search and it takes me to bulbs americas direct site. Okay. Fine I'll order them and now realize they are charging $70 for a single bulb (keep in mind if I want to wait 30 days for these to become available on Amazon they sell these for $80 for a two pack). I purchase the bulb through them again against my gut and paid for express shipping. Well guess what they took me again. This was #3. They took the $12 i paid for express 3 day shipping and sent it ground. That was almost a week ago and I haven't seen the bulb yet. They stated they would issue a refund for my shipping but I still haven't seen it yet. Not worth the headache or hassle with this company in my opinion and don't bother paying for expedited shipping. Read moreI ordered 2 projector bulbs for my hd projector. We moved into a new(to us) house in August 2020. Had an older hd projector that i ceiling mounted to turn a extra bedroom into a movie room. Replaced the old bulb with the one of the new ones. Unfortunately because we were still in the process of updating the house, new tile, carpet, paint, baseboards, trim, kitchen remodel etc.. didn't have time to use the movie room that much, finally started using it and the new bulb only worked for about 10 hours, okay faulty bulb no biggie, but it of warranty now. Put the 2nd one i ordered and my projector wouldnt turn on. Took it and the bulbs into a repair facility where the repairman told me it's the bulbs not the projector. 2 hd bulbs bad...hmmm contacted bulb America they got me an RMA but it if warranty, shipped the bulbs back 20 days later no response, reached out again had to send in tracking number and they advised the manufacturer stated these bulbs were "very used but as a courtesy they are going to replace them" thanks for sending me replacements but... "Courtesy" excuse me but 2 faulty bulbs is a trend and the fact that "very used" considering i couldn't even get the second to work indicates they sent me used bulbs in the first place.
Note to bulb America.. lost my return business, do not forward comments from manufacturers basically accusing me of lying about the use and tell me they are replacing as a Courtesy, that's a scapegoat word saying we accept responsibility but will not...
Read moreI ordered a 150 foot rope light, and when trying to hang these lights, over half did not work. Not to mention, the spool was dirty, it was missing some of the hooks, some were broken, and a few screws for the hooks were stripped and not even in a bag. They were just free in the box. I sent in for a refund/return order and received an email saying that I had 10 days after they send me the instructions to get the lights there or they would charge me a restocking fee, which I kind of understand. But then, it said after items were checked, if anything was missing/damaged, I would be charged a fee for open-box. Well, I didn’t know over half the lights did not work until I unrolled the spool because the first few rows of lights worked. But I know I am going to be charged for open box due to probably getting someone else’s open box, since my hooks were messed up with some missing and the spool appeared to have dirt on it. Then said I wouldn’t get my refund until items were inspected and could take up to 21 days. 😒 and on top of all that, I had to pay for return shipping that I was told I would not be refunded for.
