The staff is helpful and organized. I was explained what my mother needs are, and was given the option to take care of her laundry since things get lost when the facility does it. My mother who is resident feels happy and relaxed.

This place is absolutely incompetent. My mother was a resident here and they tell you one thing and do another. Example of incompetence, my mother had a doctor's appointment and I was informed to have her ride (Handicapped UBER) scheduled there for 11:30am. This was completed and there was no Certified Nurse Assistant that could be located to go with her. The ride had to be cancelled and they were still running around trying to figure out who should be going with her. Second incompetence, when I went to go visit her at this place, the front desk people were on phones, dressed in bubble and bomber jackets regualr clothes like they were hanging out on a Saturday somewhere. They had me fill out papers (with the look of as if I already know what there facility procedures are). Then proceeded to make you take an expired covid test in the room and leave your results on top of the covid questions paper. Mind you in this room it's fill with other visitors papers and covid results all laid out in the open ( which I am unsure if any type of health voliolation). Then the person just comes to view to see if negative. I walked toward the other desk and asked the guy who worked there do I need to do anything at this desk, he just non chalantly said oh take your temperature (mind you it appears he had a resident sitting next to him and they were laughing about something on a phone). Third incompetence, my mother was in the day room and it was dinner time (which was horrible, a piece of bread, looked like cream cheese and just nasty, you wouldn't even feed it to a child) and there was another resident force feeding another elderly resident literally stuffing the food in her mouth. The resident wasn't even chewing and was being forced fed by another resident, my mother said she does this to the resident every dinner service. The resident that was force feeding the other had a resident band on her ankle and was dressed in nurse attire as if she worked there. NOT ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO WORKED THERE ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE AT ALL. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!! This place also needs to be renovated as it is very outdated. I super regret choosing this nursing home/rehab for my mother (she was therr for rehab). I highly so not recommend this place.

Her social worker, Ms. Liana and thre transportation lady Ms. Kathy and Ms. Connie I'm billing they were all amazing and helpful at least. One of her Occupational therapists...

This is a continuation of my below review! First of all please do not let the above pictures deceive you, the rooms or facility look nothing like that! Those have definitely been staged. What they should do is take pictures of the garbage all over the outside of the facility! How dirty and disgusting the rooms are! The smell emanating from that place on Saturday was horrendous!!! In addition my fathers room was full of fruit flies everywhere! You ask me if they have gotten hospice in there yet to take care of him? Yea right! And let’s discuss the staff while yes some are nice others are not so and shouldn’t be near patients! A horrible incident occurred with one of the CNA’s Ramon, where he was rude & yelling at my sister all because she told him my father was wet. That prompted for me to file a formal complaint! Yes they called me right away with their apologies! But guess what that same CNA is still working there!!! So much for disciplinary actions! We have told the nurses and aides several times my father’s nails need to be trimmed! They have not bothered! The place looks & smells like a dump! Please try to avoid this place at all cost for your loved one. Unfortunately like I mentioned in my 1st review it’s the only place that had a bed for my dad!!

1st review (3 weeks ago) Unfortunately this is the only place that accepted my father quickly and so far the place is horrible!! They really do not pay attention to the patients. I'm very observant because I myself work in HC for about 17 years. I'm writing everything down and if need be I will get my lawyer involved. I don't play around and refuse for my father to endure any mistreatment or abuse!! I have media connection as well so they better watch their step over there!! Mind you my father has only been there for 3 days! Tomorrow morning I will be contacting the director as she painted a beautiful picture to my sister when she toured the facility. Honestly, when I spoke to her over the phone she didn't sound very pleasant at all. So don't know what her deal is? She pretty much sounded annoyed because I was asking a lot of important questions (go figure)! Things better change quickly or they will find themselves in...

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional experience I had during my recent visit to Midway Nursing Home on 5/18/24. As I visited my brother-in-law today, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and inviting atmosphere of the facility.

From the moment I entered, it was evident that the administration's commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and organization was unwavering. The immaculate condition of the premises set a positive tone for my visit and reflected the care and attention to detail that is evidently a top priority at Midway Nursing Home.

Moreover, I was deeply touched by the warmth and positivity that radiated from every individual I encountered, from the dedicated staff members to the cheerful patients. The genuine smiles and friendly greetings I received made me feel welcomed and at ease, creating a sense of community and compassion that truly sets Midway Nursing Home apart.

I would also like to commend the administration for the vigilant security measures in place, such as the attentive security staff and the secured front door that ensures the safety and well-being of the residents. These proactive steps demonstrate a proactive approach to resident care and safety that is truly commendable.

Overall, my visit to Midway Nursing Home was nothing short of delightful, thanks to the dedication and professionalism of the entire team, under the guidance of the administration. Your commitment to providing a warm, secure, and caring environment for residents and visitors alike is truly commendable and greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your outstanding leadership and for creating a place where compassionate care and positivity thrive. I have no doubt that Midway Nursing Home will continue to be a beacon of excellence in the realm...
