Verizon — Local services in New York

BEWARE! This store is extremely shady as the previous reviewer mentioned who was unnecessarily sold a HUM in promise of a lower rate which was straight up a lie.

I myself needed to return a product that cost me almost $300 the box was unopened and when I returned it was told it would take 3-5 business days, so after 5 business days I look at my bank account and they not only didn’t credit my account but CHARGED ME A ADDITIONAL $300 DOLLARS. So now I’m out $600 dollars and no product.

I went back to the store and the 2 girls who work there have the worst attitude with huge chips on their shoulder. They told me it would take an additional 7 business days. So I waited 11 business days and still no money. I called Verizon corporate and after several hours and speaking to several people all they can say is they can’t help me. So a store can hang a Verizon sign over their door and rob people but Verizon doesn’t care.

Apparently the owner of this store owns other Verizon stores and after 12 phone calls I get a e-mail address for the owner but he never responds to my e-mail.

After several more failed calls to the store it took me going to my councilman and congresswoman to finally get them to return my money.

What makes it even more shady is the product they sold me for almost $300 costs $50 on the Verizon website.

So it took almost 2 months, 17 different phone calls, 4 trips to the store and 3 trips to people in government to get my money back. I really hope the 2 girls got there kicks from playing games with people’s money. Enjoy your Karma.

I’ve managed to get many family members and close friends to move away from Verizon as they don’t care about their customers being robbed by authorized dealers. So if you must use Verizon save yourself the headache and go to a corporate store at Steinway street or at the Queens center mall where you don’t have to worry about shady...

Came here cause I saw all the good reviews of this Verizon store don’t get fooled by the 5 star reviews . Both haider ( the manager) and sadman offered me a promotion that wasn’t even valid . Do not come here unless you want to get scammed for false advertisement. Switched over from another phone company, they offered me new phone for trade in , and 200 dollars e-gift cards for each line , I had 3 lines (600 dollars in e-gift card ) . I asked multiple times about the e-gift card , they Assured me all the time that yes, that was the promotion that they were offering for switching over . 2 weeks pass and nothing , no email about filling out the rebate form or anything , called in and spoke to a representative in the store and no one called me back about it , Called Verizon and they also gave me wrong information as well . Turns out they weren’t even authorized to even make that offer in their store , called back to speak to sadmad , which was who did my plan and told me many times about the e-gift card told me he would call me back , and again I had to call back after 3 days . Told me there was nothing he can do for us , so lying and False advertisement is what they are doing to get us to switch and take my money . Basically they not going to do anything to help you. Cause it’s out their hands . Never ever buy or get anything from them , DONT OFFER WHAT YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED...

I came here to buy a liquid screen protector because i had already gone thru 7 glass ones for my note 9 ( i explained this to the lady working there), i didnt know much about them, and hoped that this verizon place would help me out. Within just a few days after purchasing , i noticed alot of small scratches on the screen , something i try very hard to avoid which is why i always have my phone protected with a screen protector. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SPENDING $50 IF MY PHONE CAN STILL GET SCRATCHES THAT WILL NEVER COME OFF WITH THIS LIQUID PROTECTOR! On top of that she admits now, if the screen breaks ill just have to get it fixed, the liquid doesn't peel off or actually do aything at all, its useless AND I WASTED $50 FOR NOTHING. when i came back to complain about it, she said there was nothing she could do.

So in conclusion my phone is getting more scratches by the day that i can never remove, and will now have to buy another glass protector to prevent further scratches and possible breakage. All she needed to say was "I SUGGEST YOU STILL GET ANOTHER GLASS PROTECTOR OVER THIS LIQUID ONE, or maybe, "you really shouldnt buy this liquid protector , its useless", either one would have really been helpfull.
